The Women’s College World Series (WCWS) is the peak of NCAA softball. It’s the final part of the NCAA Division I softball tournament, so only college softball teams that qualify from the regional and super-regional contests will take part. The WCWS showcases the elite of collegiate women’s softball, ending with a best-of-three series to determine the year’s winner in the national championship.
Oklahoma is the current national champion. They’ve won the softball championship for the previous three years, beginning in 2021 after the 2020 WCWS was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Sling Orange plan costs $40.00/mo and comes with ESPN, ESPN2, and ESPN3. The majority of World Series games will air on ESPN or ESPN2, with a few on ABC and ESPNU. While Sling Orange doesn’t come with ABC (Sling Blue does), you’ll still be able to watch those games with Sling, as sports shown on that channel are simulcast on ESPN3.
Sling TV keeps the price down by limiting streaming to a single device, but this shouldn’t be a problem for most fans. And every plan comes with 50 hours of free cloud DVR storage so you don’t have to miss any games.
Sling supports most devices, including Amazon Fire TV, Android Mobile, Android TV, Apple TV, Chromecast, iOS (iPhone), LG smart TVs, Roku, Samsung smart TVs, Vizio smart TVs, Xbox gaming systems, and more.
If you want the rest of the ESPN-related channels, including ESPNU, you can upgrade to the Sports Extra add-on for $11/mo. This also provides MLB Network, NBA TV, NHL Network, and more.
