How to Watch the 2024 Africa Cup of Nations
Through 2025, beIN Sports has exclusive US television rights to the Africa Cup of Nations. But it isn’t a single channel.
beIN Sports consists of about 9 channels in the United States that broadcast in either English or Spanish. And it has channels in Arabic, French, Japanese, and Turkish.
It is in many ways like the streaming service DAZN in that it operates in many different countries and thus provides access to different sports and events depending on where you are located.

Sling TV for the Africa Cup of Nations
The traditional way to watch the Africa Cup with Sling TV is to sign up with either the Sling Blue or Sling Orange plans for $40/mo. And add the Sports Extra package for $11/mo more.
All base Sling TV plans come with A&E, AMC, AXS TV, BBC America, BET, Bloomburg Television, CHARGE, CNN, Cartoon Network, Comedy Central, Comet, Food Network, Fuse, HGTV, History Channel, IFC, Investigation Discovery, Lifetime, Local Now, MGM+ Drive-In, Nick Jr, TBS, TNT, Travel Channel, and Vice.
The Sports Extra add-on always includes beIN Sports, MLB Network and Strike Zone, NBA TV, NHL Network, and Tennis Channel.
The plans differ as follows:
- Sling Orange: For $40.00/mo, you get 32 total channels including Disney Channel, ESPN, ESPN2, ESPN3, Freeform, MotorTrend, and QVC. You are limited to streaming on one device at a time but can save up to 50 hours on the cloud DVR. The Sports Extra adds SEC Network, ACC Network, Longhorn Network, ESPNU, and ESPNews for $11/mo extra.
- Sling Blue: For $40.00/mo, you get 42 total channels including ABC, Fox, and NBC in select markets. (Note: if ABC is available in your area, the plan is $5/mo more.) It also includes Bravo, Discovery Channel, E, Fox Sports 1 (FS1), FX, Fox News, HLN, MSNBC, NFL Network, National Geographic, Syfy, TLC, USA, and truTV. You can watch on up to three devices at once and store shows on 50 hours of cloud DVR storage. The Sports Extra adds NFL RedZone, Big Ten Network, FS2, and Golf Channel for $11/mo.
- Sling Orange & Blue: For $55.00/mo, you get all of the above. Note that the Sports Extra for this plan costs $15/mo.
Sling TV Soccer Pass
But if your focus is on soccer, Sling TV has a great new option: Soccer Pass. It is just $5/mo. Sling recommends that you get the $60/yr plan to lock in the low price. So we assume this $5/mo price is for a limited time. Frankly, it is too good to be true and $10/mo or more seems a more likely final price.
For this, you get at least three channels:

- beIN Sports EN 2
- ON Sports
This is an unbelievably good deal. And remember, you can combine it with a base Sling TV plan as discussed above and all of its many add-ons.
