We will have to wait another week for a non-playoff-qualified driver to win a race this playoff series. Chris Buescher managed to lead the field. But Chase Elliott had an excellent race — the first of this series — to finish second.
Next week’s race, Autotrader EchoPark Automotive 500, is Sunday, September 25th at (EDT) on USA Network. We’ll have all the details shortly.
As we head into the third week of the NASCAR playoffs, one question remains: will a playoff-qualified driver finally win this week? Erik Jones won the first week, coming from all the way back at 15th and Bubba Wallace won last week after starting 6th.
This week’s race, Bass Pro Shops Night Race, comes from Briston Motor Speedway in Bristol, TN. And like all the early playoff races of the Cup Series, you can watch it all on USA Network.
