TV Channels to Watch World Cup 2022 in Italy

RAI will be the leading provider for all of the FIFA Cup coverage in Italy this year. RAI is the broadcasting company that owns and operates over 20 regular and high-definition television channels, which are broadcast through antenna, cable, and satellite providers.

Some channels that may include FIFA Cup coverage and related news include:

  • Rai 1 — General programming
  • Rai 2 — General programming
  • Rai 3 — General regional programming
  • Rai Sport — Sports and sports-related news

At least 28 of the FIFA Cup matches have been reserved to air on Rai 1, and the remaining games that don’t air on this channel are slotted to air on Rai 2, Rai 3, and Rai Sport. Additionally, at least 56 of the total games are slotted to run in high-definition on Rai 4k.

As mentioned above, viewers outside of Italy will not be able to access the games through RAI’s streaming services. Instead, these viewers can get access to the games through a different streaming service like FuboTV or Sling TV, both of which offer great sports coverage.
