Natalie Mootz

I am the Head of Content Strategy and a Sr Editor at Hotdog who mentors editors and writers as well as ensuring that our content meets the high bar that comes with creating the most useful streaming information on the web. I focus on sports and behind-the-scenes research.

I have a BA in Communications from Florida State University. Since then, I have worked in marketing for Fortune 500 companies like the Los Angeles Times, Boeing, Toshiba, and Citibank.

I have been writing about streaming and other technology topics for over 15 years with articles featured on Engadget, Laptopmag.com, Digital.com, Tom’s Guide, and About.com.

I have always been interested in geekery. I was a gamer and a blogger before those terms even existed. Throughout my career, I’ve written about technology and its intersection with entertainment.

I started streaming with Netflix in 2014 and then eagerly adopted new streaming services as they appeared.

I live in Southern California with my husband, two cats, and a banjo. In my spare time, I write novels.
