Pretty much any modern streaming device in use today is supported by Fubo, DIRECTV STREAM, and FanDuel. These include Android TV smart TVs; stick devices Amazon Fire TV, Apple TV, Chromecast, and Roku; and iOS and Android mobile devices. Fubo and FanDuel also support the Xbox One gaming system.
You can stream on unlimited simultaneous devices with DIRECTV STREAM. Fubo is practically the same but does have a 10 device limit. FanDuel offers just 2.
Unlimited cloud storage comes with Fubo and DIRECTV STREAM. FanDuel offers no DVR.
Alternatives to FanDuel Southeast
If signing up for one of the streaming services I’ve mentioned isn’t a practical option for you, there are other ways to watch your favorite teams play. One is simply to stick with cable for now. But I think you can do better than that.
A lot of games are televised nationally on channels like ESPN and FS1 as well as other network channels. For these, any of the top streaming services will serve you well. I like both Sling TV and Hulu + Live TV.
If your problem is not with the cost but that you aren’t in the FanDuel Sports Southeast broadcast region, you are in luck. You can get live access to your favorite team through MLB.TV, NBA League Pass, and ESPN+.

FanDuel Sports Southeast is a regional sports network (RSN) that’s part of the FanDuel Sports Network (Bally Sports Network until 2024) owned by Diamond Sports Group.

An RSN such as FanDuel Sports Southeast is a TV channel that covers sporting events for viewers in a specific part of the country. FanDuel Sports Southeast is available to viewers in throughout the American southeast:
- Georgia
- South Carolina
- TennesseeAlabama
- Mississippi
- North Carolina (eastern part)
Some sources say it is available in parts of Kentucky, but I haven’t been able to find any locations where that’s the case.
Sports Coverage for FDSN SW
FanDuel Sports Southeast provides primary coverage of for MLB:
- Atlanta Braves
Depending on where exactly you are located in their coverage area, you will get access to games of other teams. This includes MLB teams Cincinnati Reds and St Louis Cardinals; NHL teams Carolina Hurricanes and Nashville Predators; and NBA teams Atlanta Hawks, Charlotte Hornets, and Memphis Grizzlies.
Coverage of MLB includes Spring Training games but no playoff games. In fact, no RSN provides playoff coverage of any teams’ games.
FanDuel Sports Southeast provides coverage of other sporting events as well as locally produced shows. The channel used to broadcast some games of the WNBA’s Atlanta Dream. But there hasn’t been one for the last two seasons.

What happened to Fox Sports Southeast?
In 2019, Fox was forced to sell its sports networks to comply with antitrust laws after it was acquired by The Walt Disney Company. All properties belonging to Fox Sports Networks (FSN) were acquired by a joint venture between Sinclair Broadcast Group and Entertainment Media. On the first day of April 2021, all the properties (including sister station Fox Sports South) were rebranded as Bally Sports and then to FanDuel Sports in 2024.
Are Fox Sports Tennessee and Fox Sports Carolinas still available?
Both Fox Sports Tennessee and Fox Sports Carolinas were shut down during the transition from Fox Sports to Bally Sports. With this change, the Charlotte Hornets and the Nashville Predators games were moved to Bally Sports Southeast and the Carolina Hurricanes and Memphis Grizzlies moved to Bally Sports South. Both these channels are now part of FanDuel Sports.
