As is the case every four years, the Women’s World Cup in Australia and New Zealand is the hottest sporting event of 2023. Sadly, the Pakistan National Team will not be competing in this year’s tournament. However, Pakistanis can still watch the exciting event unfold in a number of ways. Here’s how.

TV Channels to Watch World Cup 2023 in Pakistan

The streaming rights for FIFA Women’s World Cup in Pakistan belong to the Dubai-based ARY Digital Network, named for Haji Abdul Razzak Yaqoob, the Pakistani businessman who founded the company. However, as people from Pakistan know, this is not the name of the TV channel.

ARY Media owns a variety of television channels available in Pakistan and throughout Southeast Asia, but in the country, ARY will be airing the games on A Sports, the country’s first television network dedicated to showing and discussing sports in high definition.

How to Stream Women’s FIFA 2023 in Pakistan

The games can be streamed in HD throughout Pakistan through ARY ZAP, the media network’s official streaming platform. It is available through a web browser, the Apple App Store, and Google Play. The app can be used to watch the games by Pakistanis traveling outside of the country as well, as long as it is authenticated with an official account.

This is the only way to view full matches in the country, as the A Sports app does not offer live viewing and only has recaps and highlight videos.

Devices to Live Stream Women’s 2023 FIFA in China

Since the ARY Zap mobile app is available on Apple and Google Play, there are a wide variety of device options to watch the games, either connected to a television or for on-the-go watching.

Apple iPhones and iPads can be used to watch the matches, which will also be available on the Apple TV, either directly through the app or by screen mirroring from an iPhone or iPad. Android phones and tablets will also be able to stream the contests.

They can also be viewed on a laptop or PC through a web browser and cast to a television that is equipped with a Google Chromecast or a similar device.

Women’s World Cup 2023 Schedule

The tournament begins with the Group Stage on Thursday, July 20th, when host country New Zealand takes on Norway in the opening match. The times listed for the matches are in the United States Eastern Standard Time (UCT -5), which is ten hours behind the Pakistan Time Zone (UCT +5).

After the Group Stage is complete, the Knockout Round begins and will play out according to the following schedule:

  • Round of 16 (August 5-8)
  • Quarter-Finals (August 10-12)
  • Semi-Finals (August 15-16)
  • Third-Place Play-Off (August 19)
  • World Cup Final (August 20)

Wrapping Up

Fans in Pakistan will have to wait a little while longer to see their nation’s teams compete but until then, they can enjoy streaming or watching on television all of the games from this year’s tournament through the methods we’ve discussed above.
