New ACC members in the Cardinal (2-4, 1-2) and No. 21 Mustangs (5-1, 2-0) meet for the first time in 88 years. Stanford defeated SMU 7-0 in the Rose Bowl in 1936. The modern-day Mustangs have piled up 142 points in winning their last three games.

College FootballMiami at Florida State

Jordan Travis and the No. 4 Seminoles (9-0, 7-0 ACC) continue pursuit of a national championship by hosting the rival Hurricanes (6-3, 2-3). Travis has tossed 19 touchdown passes against two interceptions. Florida State beat Miami 45-3 last season.
