The 2024 season of the American Pastime will actually open in Korea this year, with a two-game series in Seoul, South Korea between the Dodgers and the Padres. All thirty teams will play on the official Opening Day in the US, March 28.
The bad news is that the majority of games are not nationally televised. You can watch your local teams on your local regional sports network (RSN), but that’s about it. But of the games that are broadcast nationally, they’ll be on MLB Network and ESPN– and Sling carries both.
Where to Watch MLB Opening Day 2024
Even this close to baseball season, the MLB remains a little cagey about exactly where the games will be televised. The best information we could find is that MLB Network will have select games throughout the day, and then ESPN (confirmed on ESPN’s website) will air the Cubs–Rangers game in the evening.
