Ottawa Senators: Stream Every Game of the NHL Season

I can watch the Ottawa Senators play hockey wherever I am in North America.

The Ottawa Senators were a founding member of the NHL dating back to 1883. However, the modern-day version of the team joined the league in 1992, bringing back the iconic name to the NHL.

The 2022-23 season showcased a young team that displayed sparks of potential, but they fell short of a playoff spot.

Stream all the action from the Canadian Tire Centre or anywhere else they’re playing – learn how below.

In a hurry? Sens fans in the US can stream all the games on ESPN+. We recommend Hulu + Live TV for this. You can also watch nationally broadcast NHL games of other teams with the following streaming services:

  • DIRECTV STREAM: Get a great channel lineup with the best selection of RSNs in the industry. A 5-day free trial is now available for DIRECTV STREAM.
  • Sling TV: This low-cost service allows you to select just the channel lineup you want. Save 50% on Sling TV now.
  • Hulu + Live TV: This total entertainment streaming service provides a great on-demand selection and all the essential live TV channels with a 3-day free trial.

If you can’t watch your favorite sports because of your location, get ExpressVPN to access the content you deserve.

Note for viewing from : streaming platforms like Fubo or Sling TV limit access to US viewers, but combining your existing subscription with a VPN enables streaming from anywhere in the world.

ExpressVPN is my #1 choice because it’s easy to set up, super reliable, and works perfectly with these streaming services. You get access to US content through their servers in 25+ US cities, plus 3 free months and a 30-day refund if you’re not happy.

You’ll have access to local platforms as if you were in the country, as well as access to services like BBC iPlayer as if you were in the UK, CBC Gem as if you were in Canada, plus hundreds more worldwide.

The original Ottawa Senators were founded in 1883, and won the Stanley Cup 11 times until their dissolution in 1934. The team was reformed in 1990 as an expansion team, and they’ve had some ups and downs. Sixteen playoff appearances, but none in the past five years.

The Sens remain a work-in-progress. Team captain Brady Tkachuk, rising star center Tim Stützle, and veteran Claude Giroux are a powerful core offense. The historically weak defense could be shored up by the new goalie from Finland, Joonas Korpisalo.

If the Sens Army includes you, then of course you’ll want to watch as many games as you can. But where can you find them?

Our Choice

For out-of-market Senators fans, ESPN+ is the best option, offering affordable access to all their games plus a solid lineup of NHL content. It stands out because of its straightforward interface and strong streaming quality, which I found to be reliable even during high-traffic times. On the other hand, for in-market fans, Fubo is the way to go. Its impressive channel package, including key regional sports networks (RSNs), provides an all-around great viewing experience. Both services are compatible with most devices, so you won’t have trouble streaming at home or on the go. Ultimately, ESPN+ is your go-to for those not living in Ottawa, while Fubo shines for locals wanting the full game-day experience.
