You can follow all of NCAA sports with Fubo. Try it free.

The Golden Eagles may come from a small school, but they offer strong teams that have a large group of fans.

In a hurry? Marquette appears mostly on Fox Sports channels (especially FS1). Sadly, the women’s matchups don’t get as much TV coverage. But you will be able to watch what is broadcast with these services:

  • Fubo: The best streaming service for international sports also provides 150+ well-selected channels. Fubo allows you to try out its service with a free trial.
  • DIRECTV STREAM: Get a great channel lineup with the best selection of RSNs in the industry. A 5-day free trial is now available for DIRECTV STREAM.
  • Sling TV: This low-cost service allows you to select just the channel lineup you want. Save 50% on Sling TV now.

If you can’t watch your favorite sports because of your location, get ExpressVPN to access the content you deserve.

Note for viewing from : streaming platforms like Fubo or Sling TV limit access to US viewers, but combining your existing subscription with a VPN enables streaming from anywhere in the world.

ExpressVPN is my #1 choice because it’s easy to set up, super reliable, and works perfectly with these streaming services. You get access to US content through their servers in 25+ US cities, plus 3 free months and a 30-day refund if you’re not happy.

You’ll have access to local platforms as if you were in the country, as well as access to services like BBC iPlayer as if you were in the UK, CBC Gem as if you were in Canada, plus hundreds more worldwide.

From their home at Fiserv Forum in downtown Milwaukee, the Marquette Golden Eagles fight to the top of the Big East Conference. Though they are not from a major athletics conference, the Big East is home to some mean hoops.

Marquette has taken a full part in that, with 34 Men’s NCAA tournament appearances and 13 Women’s tournament appearances throughout their history. Each year, Marquette basketball fans can look forward to competitive basketball.

Marquette Golden Eagles in March Madness

March Madness 2024 is on. The Marquette Golden Eagles’ men’s and women’s teams were among the leading teams in the Big East Conference. The men’s team is particularly strong, ending the season at No 8 in the Coaches and AP rankings.

Both teams will be taking part in the tournament.

Most of the services also support smart TVs (LG, Samsung, Vizio) and gaming consoles (PlayStation, Xbox).

Marquette Basketball

Marquette University basketball offers a talented tradition of winning, though each year, some fans look forward to a few particular games the most.

Marquette has a fierce rivalry with Wisconsin University, as both schools are in Wisconsin. Though this is their prominent in-state rival, Marquette fans also look forward to playing Connecticut and DePaul.

The Marquette Women’s basketball team began competing in 1975-76, while the Men’s side launched in 1916-17. Marquette moved from Conference USA to the Big East after the 2004-05 season.

The Women’s team has claimed five regular-season conference championships, including two in the Big East. They have also won two conference tournament championships, including the 2017 Big East Tournament title.

As for the Men’s team, Marquette has won four regular season conference titles, with the most recent championship happening in 2013. The Men’s team also won the 1997 tournament conference championship.

Marquette Men’s Basketball

The Men’s Marquette basketball team won the 1977 national championship, and they have been to three Final Fours, including in 1974, 1977, and 2003.

The team has had three national coaches of the year, one national player of the year, nine All-Americans, and 39 NBA players. Marquette’s overall record throughout their history is 1,651–1,019, suitable for a .618 winning percentage.

The 2023-24 Golden Eagles squad is led by David Joplin, Ben Gold, Oso Ighodaro (blocked shots, rebounds leader), Kam Jones (points leader), Tre Norman, Tyler Kolek (assists leader), Stevie Mitchell (steals leader), Zaide Lowery, and Chase Ross. Guard Sean Jones injured his ACL in early January and is out for the rest of the season.

Head coach Shaka Smart, in his third season with the team, has compiled a record of 71-28 — 72% wins. In conference play, he has a 42-12 record, which equates to a .712 winning percentage.

Marquette Women’s Basketball

While the men’s team plays at Fiserv Forum, the Women’s Marquette Basketball team plays their home games at the Al McGuire Center, which has a maximum seating capacity of 4,000.

While the women’s team boasts a .560 winning percentage at 755-593, they have never made it past the second round of the NCAA Tournament in March. Still, they boast a long track record of Tournament appearances, recording spots in the Big Dance in 13 different years, with the most recent in 2023.

Megan Duffy is in her fifth season as head coach of the Golden Eagles with a record of 105-40 — 72%.

The main players on the team are Jordan King, Rose Nkumu (assists, steals leader), Lee Volker, Liza Karlen (points, blocked shots, rebounds leader), Mackenzie Hare, Skylar Forbes, and Frannie Hottinger.

Our Choice

I tried a bunch of streaming services, and Fubo ended up being the best way to watch Marquette Golden Eagles games without any headaches. It’s got Fox and FS1 for almost all the men’s games, plus over 150 other channels, so there’s always something on. The unlimited DVR is a game-changer when I can’t watch live, and the stream quality has never glitched on me. Works on all my devices, and the app’s easy to use. Women’s games are harder to find, but Fubo still offers the best shot. If watching Marquette without frustration is the goal, this is the way to go.
