As a long-time Toronto Maple Leafs fan, I know them as both the Toronto Maple Leafs and the Toronto Maple Leaf Hockey Club. Like many others, I’ve discovered I can watch all their games this season online without needing a cable subscription.

In a hurry? US fans can watch most the Maple Leafs games live on ESPN+, which we recommend getting with Hulu + Live TV, which will allow you to watch every game.

The team competes in the National Hockey League as a member of the Atlantic Division in the Eastern Conference. They are based in Toronto where they originally started back in 1917 as the Toronto Arenas. They moved to the Air Canada Centre in 1991, after leaving, Maple Leaf Gardens, which had been their base since 1931. The franchise was established in 1917 as the Toronto Arenas, operated by the Toronto Arena Company. It was renamed Toronto St. Patricks and finally in 1927, the franchise was sold again and rebranded as the Toronto Maple Leaf Hockey Club.

As one of the ‘Original Six’ league members, the Maple Leafs have a rich history in the sport. Over the years, the Maple Leafs have achieved great success, winning thirteen Stanley Cup championships. However, their last championship victory came in 1967, resulting in a 48-season drought, currently the longest in the NHL. Despite this, the team remains a beloved and iconic franchise in the hockey world.

Our Choice

To stream Toronto Maple Leafs games this season, I found Hulu + Live TV to be the top choice. It provides access to ESPN+, which covers most of the team’s games, making it a solid pick for fans who want reliable streaming with excellent quality. The service offers a strong channel lineup, including access to both national and regional games, which I really appreciated. The user interface is simple and easy to navigate, which is a bonus for those who just want to watch without fuss. Device compatibility is broad, so you can watch on most devices, making it convenient whether you’re at home or on the go. Compared to other options, I found Hulu + Live TV’s value for money to be better, especially considering the bonus features like on-demand content and cloud DVR. Canadian fans can also catch the games on Sportsnet and TSN as an alternative. It’s affordable and flexible, making it a no-brainer for anyone who wants consistent access to Leafs games.
