The CBS Sports Network is part of the larger CBS Entertainment Group, which in turn is owned by the megahuge Paramount Global (formerly Viacom-CBS). But unlike the flagship CBS network, it is not available over the air via antenna. It requires a TV provider to access it.
While CBSSN is a general sports channel, it began with a focus on college sports and still airs a lot of NCAA football and other sports, news, and events.
How to Watch CBS Sports Network Without Cable
CBS Sports Network presents a wide variety of live sports events. Their coverage of college basketball is exceptional, as well as college football, although they cover other sports, such as professional soccer, golf, and tennis. Their original shows include That Other Pre-Game Show, Premier Boxing Champions, and a simulcast of the long-running radio program The Jim Rome Show.
The network used to air NASCAR and had a brief deal with Bellator MMA, before the former went to Fox Sports and the latter to sister-channel Showtime.
