The Orioles have made the playoffs the last two seasons and fans hope to extend the streak. If you want to know how to watch the Orioles all season long, I have all the information you need.
In a hurry? Fans in and around Baltimore can watch most games with MASN through a live TV streaming service. Those out-of-market can stream with MLB.TV.
- Fubo: Get 150+ channels including MASN. Fubo allows you to try out its service with a free trial.
- DIRECTV STREAM: Includes MASN and all the other channels you might need to watch the Orioles. A 5-day free trial is now available for DIRECTV STREAM.
- MLB.TV: Fans outside the Orioles media market can stream almost every game.
Table Of Contents
The Baltimore Orioles have been in existence since 1901 when they were known as the Milwaukee Brewers (the current Brewers didn’t come into existence until 1970).
Since 1992, they have played their home games at Oriole Park at Camden Yards. The team’s previous owner, Peter Angelos, originally bought the franchise for $173 million in 1993. At the beginning of 2024, Angelos sold the Orioles to a group led by Carlyle Group co-founder David Rubenstein for $1.725 billion.
Baltimore Orioles TV Channels
All MLB teams have their games spread out over regional, national, and (increasingly) streaming-only channels.
National Channels
Throughout the season, select MLB games will be showcased on a variety of national networks such as ESPN, ESPN2, TBS, Fox, and Fox Sports 1 (FS1). Many games will also be featured on MLB Network or MLB Network Alt. These channels will also cover the playoffs.
There are also two streaming services that air Orioles games: ESPN+ and Apple TV+. The ESPN+ games are simulcasts of other channels but the games on Apple TV+ are exclusive to it.
MASN
The Mid-Atlantic Sports Network (MASN) is a regional sports network (RSN). It is a joint venture between the Baltimore Orioles and the Washington Nationals. It is the main way for local fans to watch the Orioles.
By “local” I mean that you must live in the Orioles’ blackout region to get it. This includes Maryland, Delaware, Virginia, and parts of North Carolina and West Virginia.
In addition to baseball, it broadcasts Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) games as well as other compelling content. When two events occur at the same time, MASN provides the subchannel, MASN2, which is often used to broadcast Washington Nationals games.
MLB.TV
For fans that are not local, MLB.TV streams the vast majority of games. See below.
How to Live Stream the Baltimore Orioles
There are lots of ways to watch Orioles live. But it depends upon where you live and how many games you want to watch.
An antenna allows you to watch games that are broadcast over the air by major networks. These days, that means FOX. Last year, there were 5 Orioles games on the network.
Similarly, 4 Orioles games in 2024 were streaming exclusives on Apple TV+. You can only watch those by signing up for the service.
To watch the vast majority of games, however, you will need one of these services:
Service | Price | Channels | DVR (hrs) | Screens |
$94.98 | 150+ | unlimited | 10
$114.99 | 125+ | unlimited | unlimited
$29.99 | N/A | N/A‡ | 4 |
The first two services (Fubo, DIRECTV STREAM) provide access to MASN, the home of the Orioles. The third streaming service (MLB.TV) provides access to almost all Orioles games for fans outside MASN’s broadcast reach.
Streaming Features
All these services allow you to stream on multiple devices. For example, you could watch 4 different MLB games on 4 different TVs at the same time with MLB.TV.
The two live TV streaming services provide a cloud DVR with unlimited storage. MLB.TV does not, but it otherwise allows you to pause and rewind live games and watch old games on-demand.
The following devices are supported by all three streaming services: Amazon Fire TV, Android mobile devices, Android TV-based smart TVs, Apple TV, Chromecast, iOS mobile devices, Roku, Samsung smart TVs, and web browsers. Fubo and MLB.TV support other devices including the Xbox.
Everything You Need to Know About the Baltimore Orioles
After spending a year in Milwaukee in 1901, the franchise moved to St Louis where they were known as the Browns. In 1953, the Browns were purchased by a group of investors who moved the team to Baltimore and gave them their current nickname.
During the franchise’s run in Baltimore, the Orioles have won three World Series titles, seven American League (AL) titles, and ten AL East division titles. Their last World Series and AL title wins both came in 1983 while the Orioles last won their division in 2023.
In 2024, Baltimore had a good regular season finishing with a 91-71 record to take 2nd place in the AL East division. They went to the playoffs as a Wild Card but lost 0-2 in the first round to the Kansas City Royals.
The Orioles have had many great players on their rosters throughout the past several decades. These include Brooks Robison, Mike “Moose” Mussina, and Cal Ripken Jr. All three men are enshrined in the National Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, NY. Cal Ripken Jr is also known for playing in 2,632 consecutive games, which is a Major League Baseball (MLB) record.
Our Choice
Although the Orioles are going through a bit of a rebuilding period right now, they still have a loyal fanbase that will stick with them no matter what. I recommend Fubo for local fans and MLB.TV for others.
