Kansas Jayhawks Channels

The Jayhawks play in the Big 12 Conference, meaning KU football matchups broadcast predominantly on ABC, Fox, FS1, ESPN, and ESPN2. Some Big 12 games will stream exclusively on ESPN+ this year.

As over-the-air channels, ABC and Fox can be picked up for free with a digital antenna (depending on location). They are also available online through many top streaming services, which will also provide FS1 and ESPN channels so you’ll be able to watch every Jayhawks game throughout the 2024 season.

Streaming Kansas Jayhawks Football Games

Streaming Kansas Jayhawks games is as easy as choosing a service, signing up, and then selecting the right channel on a streaming device to start watching. Most streaming services provide a free app users can download and install on any supported device.

Universally compatible devices include Amazon Fire TV, Android and iOS mobile devices, Android TV-based and Samsung smart TVs, Apple TV, Chromecast, Roku devices and TVs, and web browsers. Some services also support other smart TVs and various gaming systems (eg, Xbox and Playstation).

The services below provide at least one of the channels needed to watch Kansas Jayhawks football games online during the 2024 NCAA football season:

‡ Sling TV offers Fox in select markets, and ESPN3 should allow you to watch any Jayhawks games airing on ABC.

All of these services are free of contracts, so you can cancel whenever you like. Most let you watch on several devices simultaneously and include free cloud-based DVRs to let you record live games and shows.

If you are a big fan of MLB, NBA, or NHL, you should look closely at Fubo and DIRECTV STREAM. Both of them provide access to almost all of the RSNs that broadcast local team games.

Our Choice

Catching every Kansas Jayhawks game is easy with Fubo – it’s got all the key channels like ABC, ESPN/2, Fox, and FS1, so you won’t miss a play. The stream quality is smooth with barely any lag, and flipping between channels feels effortless. The cloud DVR is a game-changer if you need to record a game for later, and it works on just about any device, from smart TVs to phones. I checked out other options like Hulu + Live TV and DIRECTV STREAM, but Fubo’s sports-heavy lineup and extra channels made it the clear winner. If you want a hassle-free way to follow the Jayhawks, this is it.

Kansas Jayhawks Football

The Kansas Jayhawks is coming off a solid 9-4 campaign in which the school finished 23rd in both major polls. What does 2024 have in store? Of course, that is impossible to predict, but most prognosticators believe KU will be in the top 25 again, possibly breaking into the top 15 rankings or higher and maybe even winning its first conference championship since 1968 (and second league title since 1947).

If that does happen, it will continue a resurgence, as last season marked KU’s first winning record since 2008 and just its fourth since 1995.

Who Is the Current Head Coach of the Kansas Jayhawks Football Team?

The main reason for this turnaround has been head coach Lance Leipold, who won six Division III national championships with UW-Whitewater between 2007-14, before joining the Bull’s coaching staff and building Buffalo’s program into a MAC power. He’s now looking to do the same with Kansas and the Big 12. His first Jayhawks team went 2-10, but that was followed by a near-.500 6-7 campaign before last year’s 9-4 season.

Which Kansas Jayhawks Football Player Will Make the Biggest Leap From the 2023 to 2024 Season?

What most believe to be the key ingredient in a Big 12 title push is the healthy status of Jalon Daniels, who has the potential to be the conference’s (maybe the nation’s) top quarterback in 2024. But he also missed most of last season, including the entire second half, due to a back injury.

Daniels is planning to regularly hand the ball off to running back Devin Neal – a Lawrence native who may set school records for career rushing yards, rushing touchdowns, and total touchdowns this fall. Wide receivers Lawrence Arnold and Luke Grimm should receive plenty of touches as well.

To the offensive line, Kansas has added Bryce Foster (a 247Sports Composite four-star prospect in the 2021 recruiting class, who previously played for Texas A&M), after acquiring him from the transfer portal during the offseason.

The defense is somewhat of a question mark, although that is not the case at the cornerback position as both Mello Dotson and Cobee Bryant are viewed as amongst the Big 12’s best. Otherwise, the defensive line should also be a strength with Jereme Robinson as one of its leaders.

Temporary Stadiums in 2024

None of 2024’s home games will be played at Memorial Stadium, the team’s usual home, as it is undergoing extensive construction. This season’s non-conference home contests will be at Children’s Mercy Park in Kansas City, KS, while KU’s home Big 12 matchups will be played at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, MO.
