Where to Watch the LSU Tigers
Games featuring the LSU Tigers will generally be broadcast on ESPN-related channels including the SEC Network (including its subchannel, SECN+). This includes ABC although those games will generally be simulcast on ESPN3. All of these channels are available through most of the large streaming platforms.
You can stream all of these channels on Fubo.
Some LSU contests will also appear on ESPN+. That’s its own service but at just $10.99/month, it’s a good addition to a general live TV streaming service.
How to Stream LSU Tigers Games
Each of these streaming services has its own advantages.
Fubo
The Fubo Pro plan is $79.99/month and it offers 150+ TV channels including all the local affiliates such as ABC, CBS, Fox, and others as well as ESPN, ESPN2, FS1, FS2, and Big Ten Network. SEC Network is included for subscribers in states represented by the SEC.
You can upgrade with the Fubo Extra add-on for $7.99/mo and get another 50+ channels including ACC Network and ESPNU. Or you can get it with the Sports Plus add-on for $10.99/mo, which comes with 25+ channels.

For all the details, see our Fubo review.
Sling TV
To watch ESPN, you need the Sling Orange package, which is $40.00/month. This includes ABC Sports broadcasts, which appear on ESPN3.
And to get the conference networks, you must get the Sports Extra plan for $11/mo. In addition to all the conference channels, you get NBA TV, MLB Network, NHL Network, and more.
The biggest problem with Sling is that it does not include CBS but you can get this with Paramount+ Premium. See our Sling TV review for more information.
DIRECTV STREAM
ESPN, ESPN2, and all the local network affiliates come with the DIRECTV STREAM Entertainment plan for $79.99/month. To get the SEC Network, you will need to upgrade to the Choice plan for $108.99/month.

Other Options
There are other ways to watch the LSU Tigers. We have touched on some of these above.
- ESPN+: This streaming service provided by ESPN offers a wide variety of college football, basketball, and other sporting events. At just $10.99/month, it’s a great addition to a live TV streaming service. See our ESPN+ review.
- Paramount+ Premium: Allows you to watch most content that is produced by CBS on-demand. But it also allows you to watch live sports. And CBS shows occasional LSU football games. It’s a deal at only $12.99/month.
- YouTube TV: Offers 100+ channels including ESPN and SEC Network for $72.99/month. It’s similar to the plan from Hulu + Live TV.
- Network apps: You can watch your favorite LSU content through individual network apps. You will, however, need a streaming service that supports TV Everywhere to use these.
LSU Tigers Live Stream TVs and Devices
You can watch the Tigers on most TVs and streaming devices currently in use — probably ones you own.
You can use Samsung smart TVs with all the services. Smart TVs by LG and Vizio work with Hulu, Sling, and Fubo. And all services support Android TV-based devices.
HDMI TV devices (Amazon Fire TV, Apple TV, Roku) are universally supported. So are Android and iOS mobile devices. And using Chromecast, you can cast to your TV.
Sling TV, Fubo, and Hulu support the Xbox One gaming system. PlayStation and Nintendo Switch units are supported by Hulu. And Oculus is supported by Sling.
You can watch LSU Tigers on a web browser, of course. See our individual streaming service reviews for complete lists of supported devices.
LSU Tigers Football
Established in 1860, Louisiana State University (LSU) is known for being the state’s flagship research school. It also boasts an athletic program that has won 52 national titles over the past 164 years, which places it ninth among members of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA).
The women’s track team is responsible for 25 of these titles while the men’s football, baseball, and golf teams have combined for an additional 16 championships. The school primarily competes in the Southeastern Conference (SEC). The Tigers football team plays in the 102,321-capacity Tiger Stadium on the campus in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
LSU is expecting to experience another solid season in 2024. Whether that will be good enough for a berth in the expanded College Football Playoff remains to be determined as most prognosticators predict that the Tigers to be on the bubble for that 12-team field.
Much of the reason why LSU fans have high hopes of that being accomplished is head coach Brian Kelly, who continued to improve programs throughout his time at every stop in his coaching career, at Division II Grand Valley State and then Central Michigan, Cincinnati, and Notre Dame. After the Tigers went 10-4 and 10-3 in his first two seasons in Death Valley, a step up would push them easily into that postseason field.
That said, there are notable changes on offense that will need to go smoothly for that to happen. Joe Sloan and Cortez Hankton are new co-offensive coordinators while quarterback Garrett Nussmeier is likely going to be given the reigns on the field after Heisman Trophy winner Jayden Daniels departed and is focused on settling in with the NFL’s Washington Commanders.
And there are changes on defense too, most notably the appointment of a new defensive coordinator in Blake Baker. This side of the ball must improve for the Tigers to be truly elite as LSU allowed 30 or more points on eight occasions last season, giving up 40 or more three times, in the team’s three setbacks. Linebacker Harold Perkins Jr. is expecting to help lead his unit to considerable improvement.
The highlighted returning player on the special teams is kicker Damian Ramos, who hit all 77 extra points that he attempted in 2023, setting a school record for consecutive converted PATs in a campaign. He was also 12-of-15 on field goals; one make with five seconds on the clock posted the final points of LSU’s 34-31 win over Arkansas.
The likely biggest challenges on LSU’s 2024 schedule will be home games with Ole Miss on October 12, Alabama on November 9, and Oklahoma on November 30 and a road battle with Texas A&M on October 26.
