The Sooners are joining the Southeastern Conference (SEC) for the 2024 season. The SEC made a ten-year broadcast deal with ESPN, also starting in 2024, that means all SEC games will air on ABC, ESPN (and its related channels), and SEC Network. The Conference championship, previously shown on CBS, will be on ABC this season.

The Oklahoma Sooners used to be members of the Big 12 Conference, but that changed this season when they transferred to the Southeastern Conference (SEC).

Their most recent conference title came in 2020, while their most recent claimed national title was earned in 2000. In 2003, they lost in the BCS title game to LSU but were named as unofficial national champions by one pollster.

Most of the games haven’t been scheduled yet regarding TV — three on Fox/FS1 and one of ABC. I assume most of the rest will be on ESPN-related channels — or there will be more Fox and ABC schedules like last year. Dish Network should have you covered for almost all games regardless. The Sep 10th Kent State game looks like it will only air on ESPN+, so you will need ESPN+ or the Hulu Bundle for that. Hope that helps!
