Where to Watch the Texas Longhorns

The Longhorns have left the Big 12 conference for the SEC so the channels their games air on have changed a lot since last season. And the SEC broadcasting itself has changed since it no longer has a contract with CBS.

The Longhorns will air mostly on the ESPN family of channels including ABC and SEC Network. They will also be featured from time to time on FOX.

Texas Longhorns Football

The University of Texas at Austin has one of the largest and best-known football programs in the US. For much of its existence, it has regularly competed for both conference and national titles.

The team plays its home games at DKR-Texas Memorial Stadium, which seats just over 100,000 people. It is named after Darrell K Royal, the team’s head coach from 1957 to 1976, and he led them to three national championships.

The Texas Longhorns are join the SEC in 2024 after winning a Big 12 title on their way out. After winning the Big 12, the Longhorns made an appearance in the College Football Playoff (CFP) where they lost to Washington 37-31.
