How to Watch the New York Jets Game Without Cable
You’re here to find a way to watch the New York Jets games without cable. The first step is to pick a streaming service. We’ll go through all of your options throughout this guide, but we’ll start with three of our top streaming picks.
Our top choices for Jets fans are Fubo, DIRECTV STREAM, and Hulu + Live TV. All these services are contract-free and offer a free trial. This means you’ll have plenty of chances to try these services until you find the right one for you.
Your streaming service will connect to a streaming device. Think of it as how a cable box would work for cable users. The main difference is that a streaming device connects to the Internet, allowing you to connect your device at home or on the go.
Most devices are supported. All the services offer apps for Amazon Fire TV, Android Mobile, Android TV-based smart TVs, Apple TV, Chromecast, iOS (iPhone, iPad), Roku, Samsung smart TVs, and web browsers. There is less support for gaming systems like Xbox One and PlayStation and other smart TVs like those from LG and Vizio.
Jets fans have several options for streaming games, as seen in the table below. Here are all the services that offer at least some Jets games during the 2024-25 regular season. (Note that you must get Amazon Prime Video if you are not located in the greater New York area, since Thursday Night Football games are streaming only.)
The live TV streaming services (top five rows) offer the most games. They also provide cloud DVR storage to record games. Regardless of the service, you can watch on multiple devices.

About the New York Jets
The NY Jets are going through a particularly disappointing part of their history, having not made the playoffs since 2010, the NFL’s longest current playoff drought. That period did include a 10-win season as the 2015 Jets went 10-6 while concurrently missing out on the postseason, but every other year since 2010 has resulted in a .500 or lower record. Most recently, the Jets were 7-10 in 2022 and 2023.
That said, the team has an even more impressive – maybe impressive is the wrong word – Super Bowl drought, having last played in that game following its 1968 season. The only teams with longer such droughts have never played in the game, the Lions and Browns.
Will quarterback Aaron Rodgers cultivate some of the magic that he has shown throughout his playing career, or does he not have enough left in his tank at 40 to do that? Simply staying healthy would go a long ways towards that magic returning and the Jets ending their playoff drought; he missed nearly all of 2023 after suffering a torn Achilles tendon in the first game of the season.
Also important is the improvement of the line in front of him as several question marks are related to it. Elsewhere on this side of the field, contributing to Jets’ successes in 2024 should be running back Breece Hall and wide receivers Garrett Wilson and Mike Williams, the latter player a newcomer who played well during his seven years with the Chargers although he missed much of the 2023 season with an ACL tear.
However, the defense should be solid once again after it finished its 2023 campaign third in the league in yards allowed per game. It was also fourth the year before, a significant improvement over its dead-last performance in 2021.
Some of the top defensive players for the 2024 Jets include defensive tackle Quinnen Williams, linebackers Haason Reddick and Jermaine Johnson, and cornerback Sauce Gardner. Reddick is a newcomer, having most recently played for the Eagles.
The kicking duties are expected to be filled by kicker Greg Zuerlein and punter Thomas Morstead.
