I’m looking forward to watching the Pittsburgh Steelers build on last season’s Wild Card playoff appearance. With various streaming and broadcast options available, I’ll be able to catch all the NFL action this season, no matter where I am.
In a hurry? There are a lot of options for streaming out-of-market NFL games. These are our favorites for fans located outside Pittsburgh:
- ExpressVPN: Get the games you want to watch no matter where you are with private browsing and a 30-day money-back guarantee.
- Fubo: Watch all local and primetime games as well as all the action Sunday afternoon with NFL RedZone. Sign up for a free trial!
- NFL Sunday Ticket: Available through YouTube and YouTube TV.
- DAZN Canada is streaming every NFL game live, which means preseason, regular games, playoff games, and of course the Super Bowl.

How to Watch Out-of-Market Pittsburgh Steelers Games
The following options are great ways to watch out-of-market Pittsburgh Steelers games. But if you want even more options, see our NFL Out-of-Market Viewer’s Guide.
- NFL Sunday Ticket: As a Pittsburgh Steelers fan residing outside the local region, using NFL Sunday Ticket is a fantastic choice. Subscribing allows you to watch the Steelers play against other teams each Sunday. You can get NFL Sunday Ticket through YouTube and YouTube TV.
- NFL+ Premium: You can also view out-of-market Pittsburgh Steelers games using NFL+ Premium, which costs $14.99/month. It’s important to note that you only get replays with this option, though this should be fine if you don’t need to watch live games. (NFL+ review)
- NFL RedZone: This is a great tool for watching the most exciting parts of all the games every Sunday afternoon. But if you want the entire Steelers game, this doesn’t provide it. (NFL RedZone Out-of-Market)
- VPN: You can change your apparent location with virtual private network and use a standard live TV streaming service like Fubo. (Out-of-Market NFL Viewing with VPN)
In-Market Pittsburgh Steelers Games
Especially given the popularity of the Steelers, you may not need to worry about out-of-market games at all. Note that all of the following games in-market by definition:
- Thursday Night Football (Amazon Prime Video)
- Sunday Night Football (NBC)
- Monday Night Football (ESPN, ABC)
- Thanksgiving Football (CBS/Paramount+, Fox, NBC)
- Christmas Day Football (Netflix)
- International Games (NFL Network, ESPN+)
- All NFL Playoffs (CBS/Paramount+, ESPN, Fox, NBC, Peacock)
The only games that can be out-of-market those that are broadcast on Sunday afternoon (Eastern Time). Each Sunday, 4 of the games will air — either on Fox or CBS.
But given that there is likely only one in-market game to show each week, three out-of-market games will also be shown locally. And there’s a very good chance the Steelers will be involved.
