Super Bowl Replay Online: Every Option to Watch Past NFL Games

If you can’t catch the Big Game, you can watch the replay in a number of ways. I explain all below.

In a hurry? Here are my top two picks to watch the Super Bowl replay.

  • Fubo: Its lookback function allows you to watch events up to 72 hours after they air. You can also just DVR the game to have it permanently.
  • NFL+ Premium: You can replay not just Super Bowl LIX, but every game of the season for $14.99/month. Check it out with a 7-day free trial!

After every regular-season game and all the playoffs, the best two teams in the NFL have risen to the top. These will be the highest-scoring teams from the NFC (National Football Conference) and the AFC (American Football Conference). The two will then go head-to-head in the Super Bowl championship.

Super Bowl LIX

The 59th Super Bowl will play out on Sunday, February 9th starting at . The teams will go head-to-head at Caesars Superdome, New Orleans, Louisiana.

Last year’s game featured the Kansas City Chiefs’ sixth appearance in the Super Bowl. The Chiefs picked up their fourth win – coming from behind to defeat the San Francisco 49ers.

And don’t forget the halftime show, which is as much of a spectacle as the game itself. This year’s event headliner is Kendrick Lamar.

Though you may not see all the original commercials in the replay, know that those will have as much cultural relevance as the game itself.

How to Watch the Super Bowl Replay

The top choice for watching the Super Bowl replay is NFL+ Premium, the only streaming service direct from the NFL. Other services allow you to record the game on the digital DVR or watch several replays through NFL Network.

But let’s start with just my first choice for now. You can stream replays of the Super Bowl through NFL+ on-demand.

Because it’s a streaming service, you won’t need cable. All you have to have is a good high-speed internet connection and a streaming device. NFL+ and the other streaming services all work with most devices on the market, including your smartphone or tablet, computer, or dedicated devices like Amazon Fire or Roku.

Watch the Super Bowl Replay Online with NFL+ Premium

NFL+ is the only official online streaming service for the NFL. And if you want to watch the Super Bowl replay online without cable after the live game, it’s the only service that will give you an on-demand option to stream.

Here’s what you need to know:

  • Ad-free full, condensed, and all-22 Coaches Film game replays

Other Options to Watch the Super Bowl Replay Online

While NFL+ is your best bet to watch the Super Bowl replay without cable on-demand, NFL Network will also replay the game several times after it airs on Sunday, February 9. They’ll typically do a full replay the day after the game and a couple of additional showings throughout the week. To watch, you’ll need to subscribe to a service that offers NFL Network, and there are a few options.

FAQ

Can I watch the Super Bowl on Fox Sports?

This year, you can watch LIX live on FOX and Telemundo and FOX Deports (Spanish commentary). Unless you DVR it yourself, the NFL Championship game won’t generally be available on demand after the game anywhere but NFL+ Premium. Fox airs NFC Sunday afternoon games in the regular season. It no longer broadcasts Thursday Night Football (which has since moved to Amazon Prime Video).

Can I watch the Super Bowl on ESPN+?

Not until 2027. The NFL just negotiated a new ten-year contract on the broadcast rights to the Super Bowl, which (among many other things) has the championship game revolving between Fox, CBS, NBC, and ABC/ESPN. This will be the first time in twenty years ABC has aired a Super Bowl, and the first time it’s ever been on ESPN+. Replays will still only be available directly from the NFL.

ESPN/ABC broadcasts Monday Night Football.
