How to Watch the Masters Without Cable

The Masters takes place every year at the Augusta National Golf Club during the month of April. CBS and ESPN share the current rights to streaming the Masters golf tournament. As CBS is a broadcast channel, you can also use a digital antenna and watch The Masters for free.

Since 2020, NBCUniversal owns the broadcast rights to the US Open and splits coverage between NBC and the Golf Channel.

Hulu + Live TV and Fubo are both great choices to watch the US Open without cable. They both offer NBC and the Golf Channel, as well as all other channels needed to watch the major golf tournaments. They also offer FS1 and several other sports channels.

The US Open kicks off in the summer, as it usually takes place in June each year. The championship moves from golf course to golf course each year to keep things interesting.

How to Watch the British Open Without Cable

The British Open is aired between two channels: NBC and Golf Channel — the same as for the US Open. You can also stream it through Peacock.

The good news is that both channels are readily available through several streaming services. NBC can also be accessed through a digital antenna for free. Ryder Cup

Once every two years, the Ryder Cup is held. It will occur at the beginning of the 2023-24 season from Friday, September 29th through Sunday, October 1st.

The event started in 1927. It was originally a competition between the United States and the United Kingdom (later along with Ireland). But since 1979, it has been the US against Europe.

The Ryder Cup has been played consistently except during World War II, when it was canceled. It has also postponed as it was most recently due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Team Europe won the 2023 Ryder Cup tournament. The next Ryder Cup tournament will take place on September 26-28, 2025.

Both men’s and women’s golf was at the 2020 Olympics (held in 2021), just as they were at the 2016 Games. But golf has a strange history with the Olympic Games. Twenty-two men and women from 4 countries competed at the second Olympics in 1900. In 1904, 77 men from 2 countries competed in individual and team events. Then golf disappeared from the Games for the next 112 years.
