The Minnesota Wild played their first NHL season in 2000-01, making them one of the last teams to join until the latest expansion in 2017.
They made the Stanley Cup playoffs for the first time in 2002-03, and have gone on to make the playoffs a total of 13 times in their 23-year history. This included last season (2022-23), though the Wild never made it past the first round after losing to the Dallas Stars 2-4.
Minnesota Wild home games take place at the Xcel Energy Center in Saint Paul, Minnesota.

What TV Channels Air Minnesota Wild Games?
Local games, for in-market fans, will be broadcast on Bally Sports North and Bally Sports North Extra, with most games also available on Bally Sports Wisconsin and Bally Sports Wisconsin Extra.
Anyone in Wisconsin will be able to stream all games through the Bally Sports+ app.
Out-of-market games, for fans outside of the Minnesota and Wisconsin coverage area, will all be available on ESPN+.
Ten games will be nationally broadcast, on TNT, ABC, and ESPN. These won’t be available on Bally Sports or ESPN+.

How to Stream All Minnesota Wild Games
The streaming service you choose to watch Minnesota Wild games will depend on where you’re located.
If you live within the Bally Sports North or Bally Sports Wisconsin coverage region (Minnesota, Wisconsin, North and South Dakota, northern Iowa, Illinois, and parts of Michigan) you can subscribe to a streaming service that carries Bally Sports – such as Fubo or DIRECTV STREAM.
If you’re outside of this region (known as out-of-market), an ESPN+ subscription will let you watch all the Wild’s locally broadcast games from anywhere in the US.
Regardless of where you live, you’ll also need TNT, ABC, and ESPN to watch the 10 nationally broadcast games, as well as Hulu or ESPN+ for the three streaming-only events.

Signing up for ESPN+ ensures you’ll be able to watch the three streaming-only Wild games, and if you subscribe through Hulu + Live TV you’ll also have access to ABC, ESPN, and TNT, so you can watch all the nationally broadcast games as well.
This means out-of-market Minnesota Wild fans can watch every Wild game with one Hulu + Live TV subscription.
Local fans also have the option to sign up for Bally Sports+ to watch Bally Sports North or Bally Sports Wisconsin online if they’re within the coverage region.
