Two drivers who finish in the top two positions in the All-Star Open will advance to the All-Star Race. A third driver will be chosen from the fan vote, which is currently open. If a new race winner emerges in any of the three upcoming races (Dover, Kansas Speedway, and Darlington Raceway), they will automatically qualify for the All-Star Race.
Drivers up for a vote include: Austin Cindric, Austin Dillon, Josh Berry, Corey LaJoie, Noah Gragson, Chase Briscoe, Harrison Burton, Bubba Wallace Daniel Hemric, Todd Gilliland , Ryan Preece, John Hunter Nemechek, Erik Jones, Alex Bowman, Justin Haley, Ty Gibbs, Zane Smith, Carson Hocevar, Kaz Grala, and JJ Yeley.

NASCAR All–Star Race 2024 Overview, Format and Past Winners
NASCAR All–Star Race is a 200 lap event with competition break around lap 100. It is going to be held in the revived North Wilkesboro Speedway, which is 0.625 miles oval track that features a unique uphill backstretch and downhill front stretch, that has not had a Cup Series race since 1996.
The All–Star Open is an alternative route for drivers who don’t qualify through race wins. The race covers 100 laps with a competition break around lap 40. The top two finishers will progress to the All–Star Open race. The last slot is allocated to a Fan Vote winner who also will advance to the All–Star Race.
Jimmie Johnson is the driver with the most All-Star wins, four, in 2003, 2006, 2012, and 2013. Kyle Larson, Dale Earnhardt, and Jeff Gordon are tied for second with three wins each. Hendrick Motorsports is the team with the most wins (ten) and Chevrolet is the most victorious carmaker, with 17 wins.
Ryan Blaney of Team Penske won the All–Star Race last year driving a Ford-manufactured car. The winner this year receives one million dollars.

Kyle Larson emerged as the winner in NASCAR’s first North Wilkesboro Speedway race since 1996, leading for 145 of the 200 laps. This marked his third win in his last four appearances while also becoming the first driver to win at All-Star Race history at three different tracks. Bubba Wallace finished second, followed by Tyler Reddick, Chase Briscoe, and Chase Elliott. As for last year’s winner, Ryan Blaney, he finished in sixth place. The top 10 was completed by Daniel Suárez, Erik Jones, Ty Gibbs, and Joey Logano.
