All Elite Wrestling: Dynamite, sometimes known as Wednesday Night Dynamite, is up there with WWE Raw and SmackDown as one of my favorite professional wrestling shows. It’s super easy to watch without cable too — you simply need a streaming service that carries TBS, such as Sling TV, DIRECTV STREAM, or Hulu + Live TV.
In a hurry? Dynamite airs Wednesday nights on TBS, available on these top streaming services:
- DIRECTV STREAM: Get a great channel lineup with the best selection of RSNs in the industry. A 5-day free trial is now available for DIRECTV STREAM.

Where to Watch AEW Dynamite
AEW Dynamite is broadcast live every Wednesday at on TBS.
TBS isn’t an over-the-air channel, so you can’t get it through an antenna. But you don’t need an expensive cable plan either: you can use a streaming service that carries TBS and watch anywhere with an internet connection, without a contract.
How to Stream AEW Dynamite Live
Several major streaming services provide TBS in their base packages: Sling TV, DIRECTV STREAM, Hulu + Live TV, and YouTube TV. They all come with cloud-based DVRs and let you watch on multiple screens at once.
After signing up for a service, download its app onto a streaming device, sign in, and select TBS to start watching AEW Dynamite. Most devices are compatible with all four streaming services, including several smart TVs (eg, Samsung), mobile devices (iPhone and Android), Amazon Fire TV, Apple TV, Roku, Chromecast, and any computer with a web browser. Many gaming consoles (eg, Xbox and PlayStation) will work too.
Service | Price | Channels | DVR | Screens |
$45.99/month | 40+ | ✅ | 3 | |
$86.99/month | 90+ | ✅ | unlimited | |
$82.99/month | 95+ | ✅ | 2 | |
$82.99/month | 100+ | ✅ | 3 |
Other Streaming Options
TBS has an official app that runs on most devices, allowing you to watch content both live and after it has aired. You need to sign in with a TV provider that includes TBS in its package though, such as the streaming services mentioned above.
I haven’t been able to watch AEW live through the TBS app though, only on-demand a day or two afterwards. I find this inconsistent too, with some episodes uploaded onto the app by the next morning while other weeks taking a few days.
Our Choice
I recommend wrestling fans sign up to Sling TV if they want to watch AEW Dynamite, as this is the cheapest streaming option with TBS. This plan also comes with TNT, which shows Saturday Night Collision and Friday Night Rampage — and, as any true pro-wrestling fan knows, is essential viewing as well.

What Is AEW Dynamite?
AEW Dynamite is the first weekly show the American company All Elite Wrestling produced. It airs each Wednesday on TBS at .
The program features a number of performers that even casual fans will likely recognize, such as Bryan Danielson, Jon Moxley, Cody Rhodes, and CM Punk. It also features a variety of female performers such as Dr Britt Baker, Thunder Rosa, and others who have wrestled for crowds throughout the world.
Other prominent members of AEW are Jon Moxley, Darby Allin, Hangman Page, The Inner Circle stable leader Chris Jericho, and The Elite stable members Kenny Omega, Adam Cole, and AEW World Tag Team Champions The Young Bucks (Matt and Nick Jackson).
AEW started as a result of the spectacularly successful All In PPV event. This occurred in late 2018, at the NOW Arena in Chicago. Cody & Brandi Rhodes, The Young Bucks, and others wanted to form a new wrestling enterprise, with this new venture headed by Tony Khan (related to Jacksonville Jaguars owner Shad Khan). AEW formally started in early 2019.
If you ever get to see a Dynamite event in person, you’ll probably see matches being taped for shows such as Dark that are broadcast on YouTube. You may also get to participate in a meet-and-greet event before the show itself. And it’s not uncommon for wrestlers to hang around after shows to sign a limited number of autographs.
Other Pro Wrestling Shows
AEW Rampage is a sister show to Dynamite, airing on TNT on Friday nights. AEW also has two YouTube shows called Dark and Dark: Elevation which are designed to serve as developmental properties for the company.
Note that, although matches on Dark or Dark: Elevation are not aired on television, the results are considered canon. This means anything that happens during these shows is included as part of a character’s story as he or she progresses through the company.
This is significantly different from how WWE treats NXT (its developmental brand); in most of these cases, when a performer is called up to Raw or Smackdown, no mention is made of what that person did before arriving on the main roster.
