The Capitals (3-1-0) and Flyers (1-3-1) set up a home-and-home series in act one of the NHL's Frozen Frenzy. Washington started the Frenzy in 2023, but lost 4-1 hosting Toronto. Philadelphia participated in the final leg from Vegas, but fell 3-2.
