Fox Sports is a division of the Fox Corporation. Under this umbrella, there is Fox Sports 1 (FS1), Fox Sports 2 (FS2), and the Fox Sports Radio Network.

The Fox Corporation is able to reach 100 million viewers over the course of one weekend through its multi-platform sports assets. For sports fans, having access to FS1 and FS2 is a must to keep up on the best sports.

What is the difference between FS1 and FS2? FS1 airs the most popular live sporting events. FS2 tends to air less popular events. For example, FS1 might be broadcasting a FIFA World Cup qualifying match while FS2 is showing a delayed PBA event.

FS2 also airs overflow coverage of events that are too large for FS1 to air them all. Finally, FS2 rebroadcasts first-run FS1 shows.

How to Watch FS2 Live Without Cable

Fox Sports 2 is an integral part of Fox’s sports coverage. Extreme sports are no longer a hassle to watch when you are able to access FS2. The good news is you do not have to have a cable subscription to be able to watch FS2.

But you cannot get FS2 over the air with an antenna. It must come via a provider. And that means that you need a streaming service to get access.

Beyond that, you need a good internet connection (which you already have if you’re reading this) and a streaming device, which we will discuss below.

There are other ways to get FS2, which are of varying value:

The streaming industry has gotten serious over the last few years about supporting the TVs and devices that are in use today. So now, most devices are supported by most services. All of the services we’ve discussed support the following:

  • Android: smartphones and tablets
  • Chromecast: units and built-in systems
  • iOS: iPhones, iPads, iPod Touch units
  • TV Devices: Amazon Fire TV, Apple TV, Roku

FAQs

What Sports does FS2 air?

Currently, FS2 has a range of sports available for your enjoyment. They feature popular sports like football, soccer, and NASCAR auto racing. But they also feature less common sports like horse racing (including Belmont Stakes post-race coverage), boxing, and surfing. There is even wrestling and off-road racing. And, of course, they show a lot of extreme sports. There is truly something for every sports fan.

What is the difference between FS1 and FS2?

To the untrained eye, FS1 and FS2 may seem to offer the same sports, games, and other programs. They are, in fact, different. FS2 acts as an overflow channel for big events that FS1 can’t handle. They also show less common events like professional bowling and poker.
