At 3:05 pm (EST) on Sunday, January 30, 2022, the two AFC football teams at the top of the roster will face off for the national championship title. Like most AFC games throughout the regular season, it will be shown on CBS.

In a hurry? The following streaming services will provide you with CBS and all the other channels you need to watch every game of the NFL playoffs:

  • FuboTV: Get 100+ live TV channels with over 35 that are sports-oriented. Get it free for 7 days to see if it’s right for you!
  • Hulu + Live TV: Add 85+ live channels, ESPN+, and Disney+ to its outstanding on-demand library. Use its free 7-day trial!
  • DIRECTV STREAM: Provides local channels and more. Try it with a 14-day money-back guarantee!

The regular season is over and the seven AFC teams to make the playoffs are Tennessee Titans (12-5), Kansas City Chiefs (12-5), Buffalo Bills (11-6), Cincinnati Bengals (10-7), Las Vegas Raiders (10-7), New England Patriots (10-7), and Pittsburgh Steelers (9-7-1).

After the first round is played, the top seed will play the lowest remaining seed at home in the second round. The two other teams will then be paired with each other, and the higher seed among those teams will serve as the host for that game.

For example, if the second, third and fourth seed won their opening games, the number one seed would play the number four seed in the second round. The number two seed would then play the number three seed at home.

The winners of those matchups would then play in the AFC title game for the right to represent the conference in the Super Bowl. As usual, the higher seed would serve as the home team for that game.
