Ohio vs Wyoming

The experts have predicted that the Ohio Bobcats will defeat the Wyoming Cowboys, although not by much. The game could essentially be considered a toss-up.

Quarterback Comparison

Ohio quarterback CJ Harris made his first career start as a junior this year after their starting QB, Kurtis Rourke, suffered a season-ending ACL tear in the team’s 11th game. He performed quite well, although the team did lose to Toledo in the Mid-American Conference (MAC) Championship Game earlier this year.

Starting under center for Wyoming will be Andrew Peasley, who has had his ups and downs this season. His completion percentage was just over 50% and he threw nine TD passes, although with eight interceptions to go with them. He recently returned from an unspecified injury against Fresno State, where he went 12 out of 29 for only 104 yards, with zero touchdowns and two interceptions. Wyoming is a team in the Mountain West Conference.

Key Players and What to Expect

The Bobcats finished the year 9-4, while Wyoming came in at 7-5. However, both teams struggled in their most recent respective games. The winner will likely be whichever team is able to solve their offensive problems first, although defensive will also be a major factor.

Ohio’s defense caught 11 interceptions this season with Tariq Drake and Zack Sanders leading the team with three apiece. Combined with Peasley’s eight picks thrown this year, there is a strong possibility of seeing at least one turnover in this game.

However, they may not get the chance if Wyoming relies heavily on running back Titus Swen, who averaged nearly 90 yards per game and scored eight rushing touchdowns, including one that went for 83 yards.

This year’s Arizona Bowl is expected to be very close and fans can look forward to an exciting game that may very well come down to the final possession of the night.
