Week 3 of the NFL season brings us an NFC East matchup as the Dallas Cowboys come to MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey to take on the New York Giants on Monday Night Football.
In a hurry? You can watch these games with FuboTV.
Here’s all you need to know:
- Who: Dallas Cowboys (1-1) at New York Giants (2-0)
- When: Monday, September 26th (EDT)
- Where: ESPN and ABC.
The kickoff of the Cowboys and Giants is at but the broadcast itself starts at . And on ESPN, Monday Night Countdown starts at .
This AFC battle will determine if the Giants join the Philadelphia Eagles with an undefeated 3-0 record and if the Cowboys join the Washington Commanders at the bottom with a 1-2 record. If the Cowboys manage to win this game, both teams will occupy the center with 2-1 records.
This game is expected to be close. Most sportsbooks have the Giants -1.0. We’ve seen it anywhere from -0.5 to -1.5. And the total is 39.0 but some have it as high as 39.5.
This implies a final score of Giants over the Cowboys 20-19.
The power ratings for these teams go right along with this. Both teams rank at roughly 20 with the Giants consistently considered a slightly better team. But given that on any given Sunday any team can beat any other, this game is totally up for grabs.
Last year, the Cowboys dominated the Giants. Both games featured the Cowboys outscoring the Giants every quarter. This included a 44-20 win at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas and another 21-6 at MetLife Stadium in “New York.”
But this year is different with the Cowboys falling greatly in the eyes of analysts. Cooper Rush is currently starting quarterback with Dak Prescott injured.
Meanwhile, the Giants look like a much better team this year with quarterback Daniel Jones. Admittedly, they couldn’t look much worse.
