How to Watch the Super Bowl Live
Times are good for cord-cutters. And that’s especially true when it comes to major events like the Super Bowl. You should be able to watch Super Bowl LIX for free if you have a digital antenna.
You also have many options for streaming the game.

Streaming Features
All of the live TV streaming services come with cloud DVRs. NFL+ does not but if you get the Premium plan, you get access to replays of all games.
All of the services allow subscribers to watch on multiple devices at once. Hulu allows up to 2; Sling TV, YouTube TV, and NFL+ allow up to 3; Fubo allows 10; and DIRECTV STREAM is unlimited.
The streaming services also provide apps for the vast majority of devices in use today. These include Amazon Fire TV, Apple TV, Chromecast, and Roku streaming sticks; Android and iOS mobile devices; and Android TV-based and Samsung smart TVs. Other devices like gaming systems are widely (but not universally) supported.
4K & HDR Options
FOX will air Super Bowl LIX in 4K.
You will need equipment that can stream and display 4K, access to the 4K signal, and an internet connection that can handle the larger bandwidth a UHD transmission requires.
Fubo will be streaming the game in 4K. But you will need to sign up for at least its Elite plan. Similarly, YouTube TV offers it with the 4K Plus add-on for an extra $9.99.
Live Streaming the Super Bowl Outside the US
The easiest way to watch Super Bowl 2025 if you’re a football fan outside the US (and not in China or Canada) is with the NFL Game Pass International, which lets you live stream every game — including the Super Bowl. See our full NFL Game Pass review for more info.
But if you just want to tune in for the Super Bowl, the Game Pass is probably a little pricey. In many countries, ESPN will be carrying the big game, but it varies. Here are the broadcasters in major countries:
- Australia: Seven Network, 7mate
- Canada: DAZN, TSN, CTV, RDS (French)
- France: W9, BeIN Sports
- Germany: RTL, Nitro
- Ireland: Sky Sports
- Italy: Italia 1
- Mexico: Canal 5
- Philippines: Premier Sports
- United Kingdom: ITV1 (STV in Scotland), Sky Sports

Our Choice
The Super Bowl is one of the most anticipated events of the year for sports fans as well as casual observers (who may just show up for the halftime show or the legendary Super Bowl commercials). If you don’t have a cable subscription, you can watch Super Bowl 2025 with an antenna or by subscribing to a streaming service.
Fubo is my top choice for streaming the Super Bowl. Fubo allows you to try out its service with a free trial.
