Azerbaijan GP is going down at Baku (the capital of Azerbaijan) on Baku City Circuit. It is the sevententh round of races during the 2024 Formula One season. The first race to ever be held on the circuit in 2016 was European Grand Prix. The next year 2017, Azerbaijan was held in the same circuit and has been held at the same venue since.

In 2020 the race was postponed and then cancelled later due to the pandemic. So the race has been held every year except in 2020. Mercedes team won the race in 2018 and 2019 while Red Bull Racing won in 2017, 2021 and 2022. Last year Max Verstappen won followed by Sergio Perez and George Russell coming in second and third respectively.
