What I see in this article is mostly non-solutions, except ESPN3, which I haven’t yet tried out w/o a cable/satellite subscription.
The OTA networks only ever carry rounds 3 and 4 of any tournament, and only 2-3 hours of those, and follow at most only a dozen or so players.
Women’s golf is virtually nonexistent on OTA. As recently as a few years ago they at least carried the women’s and senior majors.
2015 will be the first year there will be no OTA coverage of the British Open in the US. The trend is to put more and more sports behind paywalls.
I hear you Lorraine. On all fronts. Women’s golf really needs a lot more attention. My daughter is just now getting into golf and I would love to have more ways to watch the up and coming stars.
