The Colorado Avalanche and the St Louis Blues ended the 2021-22 regular season atop of the Central Division of the West Conference. The Avalanche was in first with a final record of 56-19-7 and the Blues was in third with a still impressive 49-22-11.

The Blues managed a surprisingly strong 4-1 Victory over Colarado at the Ball Arena in the second game. But mostly, the six-game series saw the Avalanche in control with the Blues only managing a win (in overtime) in game 5.

The 2022-23 season has not been as kind to either team. The Avalanche are currently in third place with a record of 13-10-2. The Blues are doing substantially worse, currently in sixth place with a record of 12-15-0.

But all eyes will be on these teams Sunday afternoon as they meet again. The last time saw the Avalanche defeated at home 3-2. We will see if they manage to do better in St Louis.

It has only been over the last dozen or so games that both these teams have slipped. And this matchup may be just what they need to jumpstart their seasons.

Stream the Avalanche and Blues With Sling TV

Sling Orange ($40.00/mo) provides ESPN, which will air the Colorado-St Louis game. But it’s a good service for watching NHL hockey more generally.

The base Orange plan comes with ESPN, ESPN2, and ESPN3. ESPN3 is only available directly with Sling TV. It’s more of a streaming service than a channel because it streams a lot of events at the same time. But most important, it provides subscribers simulcasts of all ABC Sports broadcasts.

Sling Orange also includes The Disney Channel — and you can get other Disney channels as add-ons. The plan comes with a total of 31 live TV channels. These include channels you actually want and not a bunch of channels you will never watch: A&E, AMC, BET, CNN, Comedy Central, Food Network, Freeform, HGTV, History Channel, IFC, Lifetime, MotorTrend, Nick Jr, TBS, TNT, and more.

Sling TV offers lots of options. You can combine the Orange plan with Sling Blue. The Sling Orange & Blue plan (:sling-orange-blue-price:), you also get Fox, FS1, NBC, and USA. And March Madness fans will be pleased to know that truTV is included. And so is NFL Network.

The Sports Extra add-on ($11/mo) provides NHL Network as well as MLB Network, MLB Strike Zone, NBA TV, beIN Sports, and Tennis Channel. Plus you get a lot of great NCAA conference channels.
