Buffalo Bills Week 3

The Bills have become a regular playoff participant, having played bonus football after every season since 2019, and they are on their way to more of the same in 2024 as the result of a comeback from two scores down in a 34-28 win over Arizona on Sunday.

However, there is no time to rest on those laurels as it is a short week combined with a road trip as a Thursday Night game with the Dolphins, who are not traveling between weeks 1 and 2, awaits. Quarterback Josh Allen, who injured his left, non-throwing, hand in the season opener has been cleared to play in this contest.

Buffalo Bills enter Week 3 with a record of 2-0.

Out-of-Market Buffalo Bills Games

If you live outside the Buffalo Bills broadcast area, it’s likely that at least some Sunday afternoon games will not be broadcast where you are. These games are a bit of a challenge for fans. Our NFL Out-of-Market Football Games guide explains how to watch your favorite team in such a situation.

The standard way to watch out-of-market games is through NFL Sunday Ticket. US fans can get it through YouTube and YouTube TV. However, it is an expensive option (currently at least $349 for the season).

If you want something cheaper, you can use a VPN to stream out-of-market NFL games. We recommend using ExpressVPN for this purpose.

International fans (those outside the US, Canada, and China) will need NFL Game Pass International.

The Buffalo Bills are looking to win the AFC East for the fifth consecutive year in 2024. In 2023, the Bills needed to win their final five games to clinch the division title and second seed in the playoffs. Buffalo lost to Kansas City in the playoffs yet again 27-24, and there are plenty of questions about this team heading into the new year.

Those questions include whether head coach Sean McDermott is the man to lead the Bills to the Super Bowl. Although Josh Allen is arguably the best quarterback in the NFL, he won’t have a lot of proven talent to work with. Rookie Keon Coleman will team with Kalil Shakir and others to lead the receiving core.

I think he’s one of the best in the league right now. And I would love to be catching passes from him. I’m ready for that.

However, offensive coordinator Joe Brady managed to revitalize the offense without relying on Stefon Diggs, who was traded to Houston in the offseason. New defensive coordinator Bobby Babich is taking over the position from McDermott and will be tasked with shaping a young secondary into something that keeps pace with opposing quarterbacks.

While some are calling this a rebuilding year, Buffalo is still the favorite to win the AFC East and host a playoff game. Their key games include home games against Kansas City and San Francisco as well as road games against Baltimore and Houston. The Jets and Dolphins are the most likely to either win the division or make the playoffs alongside the Bills.

If the Bills do win the Super Bowl this year, it would be the first in team history. The franchise is probably best known for appearing in four straight Super Bowls from 1990-1993 and losing them all. Those teams were led by Hall of Famers Jim Kelly, Thruman Thomas, and Bruce Smith. Marv Levy, who coached those teams, is also in the Hall of Fame.
