How to Watch the NFL Playoffs

Four of the live TV streaming services allow you to watch every playoff game. There are also some lower-cost services that provide limited coverage.

ServiceCBS (5)Fox (4)NBC (3)ESPN (1)
DIRECTV STREAM
FuboTV
Hulu + Live TV
YouTube TV
Sling TV
Vidgo
Paramount+
Peacock
The ESPN game will also air on ABC and ESPN2 (as Manningcast).

Get Local NFL Channels Free With an Antenna

It is easy to dismiss antennas when looking to watch big sporting events. We are all on the internet and streaming just seems easier. But the antenna is probably the cord-cutters most powerful tool.

For roughly $30, you can get a high-definition antenna that, in most areas, will allow you to watch 12 of the 13 NFL playoff games including the Super Bowl. That’s a one-time cost. The antenna should last you for many years.

An antenna is almost as good for the regular season. It only really deprives you of two of the three weekly primetime football games.

For more information, see our antenna guide.

How to Stream the NFL Regular Season

The same channels apply to the regular season with one exception being Amazon Prime, which has exclusive rights to Thursday Night Football. The live TV streaming services also allow you to watch Sunday Night Football (NBC) and Monday Night Football (ESPN).

The one issue with the regular season is that many games occur at the same time. The NFL has regionalized broadcasting, however. So on Sunday afternoons, a total of 4 games are offered to fans (through CBS and Fox). They feature local teams as well as games featuring the top-ranking teams.

Wrapping Up

You can watch every game of the 2023 NFL playoffs with four of the top live TV streaming services or by combining lower cost streaming services.

For example, you can watch all of the games with Sling TV and Paramount+ together for just $59.99/mo. If you don’t mind missing the ESPN game, it’s only $44.99/mo (and you can still watch the Super Bowl)!

FAQs

How do I watch games that air at the same time?

When the NFL playoffs start, there is no overlap. Every game is on at a different time so you can watch every game! Unfortunately, the regular season isn’t like that. So you have to use a service like NFL+ Premium to watch replays. If you want greater control of what you can watch live, you need to check out Sunday Ticket.

When will my favorite team play next?
