The Citrus Bowl is one of the biggest sporting events in the NCAA Division I FBS outside of the college football playoff (CFP). It is presented by Florida Citrus Sports:
As ABC is a local channel, the 2023-24 Citrus Bowl, is easier than ever to watch. You can use streaming services to watch on ABC or ESPN3. Either way, the game will be available.
When it comes to streaming local channels, we always recommend Fubo and DIRECTV because they offer local content to more homes than any other streaming service. Another great option is Hulu + Live TV.
As SlingTV is one of the cheapest streaming services, it’s worth looking at, especially if you’re on a budget. We’ll also go over the other ways you can watch the Citrus Bowl online without cable.

Fubo, DIRECTV, Hulu Live, and Sling TV are great services, but they won’t work for everyone. If you’re in need of another way to stream the Citrus Bowl, you still have options. Here are some additional services that may work for you:
The 2024 Citrus Bowl features the Iowa Hawkeyes of the Big Ten Conference and the Tennessee Volunteers of the Southeastern Conference (SEC). These are two of the best teams in the NCAA and this should be a good game even though Tennessee is expected to dominate.
The Hawkeyes had a great regular season with a record of 10-3 (7-2 in-conference). This put them at the top of the West Division of the Big Ten. But the postseason went badly with Michigan destroying them 26-0 in the conference championship, although this probably says more about Michigan’s strength than Iowa’s weakness.
The Volunteers also had a good season with a record of 8-4 (4-4 in-conference). That put them in third in the East Division of the SEC — and sixth overall.
Kirk Ferentz has been head coach at Iowa for the past 25 years. With him are offensive coordinator Brian Ferentz and defensive coordinator Phil Parker.
The Hawkeyes are suffering a lot of injuries going into the Citrus Bowl so it isn’t clear exactly who will play. But the offense will be led by quarterback Deacon Hill along with running backs Leshon Williams and Kaleb Johnson, wide receivers Nico Ragaini, Kaleb Brown, Seth Anderson, and Diante Vines, and tight ends Erick All and Addison Ostrenga.
Iowa’s defense features linebackers Jay Higgins and Nick Jackson, defensive backs Sebastian Castro, Jermari Harris, Cooper DeJean, Quinn Schulte, Deshaun Lee, and Xavier Nwankpa, and linemen Logan Lee, Ethan Hurkett, Deontae Craig, Yahya Black, and Joe Evans.
Head coach Josh Heupel is in his third season with the Vols. With him are offensive coordinator Joey Halzle and defensive coordinator Tim Banks.
The Volunteers are also suffering a lot of injuries. The offense should be led by quarterback Joe Milton III along with running back Jaylen Wright, wide receivers Squirrel White and Ramel Keyton, and tight end McCallan Castles.
On defense for the Volunteers are linebackers Elijah Herring, Aaron Beasley, and Jeremiah Telander, defensive backs Kamal Hadden, Tamarion McDonald, Gabe Jeudy-Lally, Jaylen McCollough, Wesley Walker, and Doneiko Slaughter, and linemen Omari Thomas, Tyler Baron, Bryson Eason, Omarr Norman-Lott, James Pearce Jr, and Kurott Garland.
After testing a bunch of streaming services, Fubo came out on top for watching the Citrus Bowl. It’s got ABC in the lineup, streams smoothly without annoying hiccups, and works on pretty much any device you’d want to use. The cloud DVR is a huge win—1000 hours means you can record every game without worrying about space. Other options like Sling TV and DIRECTV do the job too, but Fubo’s deep sports coverage and easy-to-use setup make it the best pick. If you want a reliable way to catch the game live or on replay, this is the way to go.
