Fubo stands out as the top choice for watching Indianapolis Colts games because it offers a fantastic mix of sports channels and reliable streaming quality. With 150+ channels, including all the key networks like CBS, Fox, and NBC, it guarantees you’ll never miss a Colts game. Its cloud DVR feature is a real bonus, letting you record games you can’t catch live, and its user interface is super easy to navigate. I also found Fubo’s device compatibility to be excellent, working across a wide range of platforms from smart TVs to mobile devices. What really sets it apart, though, is its emphasis on sports content, making it the perfect fit for Colts fans who want seamless access to NFL games. When compared to other services, it offers better sports coverage and superior DVR options, which makes it a solid pick for anyone looking for both quality and convenience. Whether you’re at home or on the go, Fubo ensures you’re always ready for the next big game.
Although the Colts have recorded winning records in two of the past three seasons, they did not make the playoffs in any of those as 9-8 marks in 2021 and 2023 fell just short of getting Indianapolis to the postseason. (The 2022 Colts went 4-12-1.)
That said, last year was especially painful as those playoff aspirations ended in cruel fashion, when running back Tyler Goodson could not get his feet under him, and a fourth-down pass that would have been a first down if caught went off his hands.
So, looking ahead, will 2024 be more like how the 2018-20 seasons were, which consisted of 10-6, 7-9 and 11-5 marks and, more importantly, two playoff appearances, or will it be more mediocrity?
For better or for worse, the core of the team has not changed much although now having new signee Joe Flacco as the team’s backup quarterback will ensure that the drop-off will not be too significant should starter Anthony Richardson get hurt again; he suffered a shoulder injury in 2023.
As for Richardson, the second-year player has shown a lot of promise, and hopes are that his sophomore season will allow him to put into action many of the things that he learned during his first go-around but was not able to be fully comfortable with yet.
Also a consideration is that head coach Shane Steichen is just in his second year in that role anywhere.
Other players to take note of include running back Jonathan Taylor, who led the league in rushing yards and touchdowns three years ago, wide receiver Michael Pittman Jr, linebacker Zaire Franklin, safety Julian Blackmon, and kicker Matt Gay, who made four 50+-yard field goals in a 22-19 win over the Ravens in week three of last season, becoming the first kicker in NFL history to do so.
The Colts can exorcise their 2023 demons right away as the season-opener is a home game against the Texans, which is exactly how that 2023 campaign came to a painful end.
| Team | W | L | T |
| Houston Texans | 12 | 5 | 0 |
