As a titan of the streaming industry, Hulu rarely needs to offer special deals on its on-demand and live TV streaming services. However, I recognize Black Friday weekend as one of those exceptional times when discounts become available.
Hulu Black Friday Deals Past
For 2023, Hulu is bringing back its best deal ever: 99¢/mo for 12 months.
Hulu has a history of great deals but they usually aren’t this good. Here’s what we’ve seen in previous years:
- 2018: 99¢/mo
- 2019: $1.99/mo
- 2020: $1.99/mo
- 2021: 99¢/mo
- 2022: $1.99/mo
These have been for one-year periods. It’s an amazing deal for an essential streaming service. This year’s deal is an 88% discount.
With this plan, you can only stream the available content when you’re connected to the internet. But you can add-on to this subscription with bundles for Disney Plus and ESPN+, as well as Live TV.
The deal is not available yet, so check back closer to Thanksgiving.
If it is as in the past, this Hulu offer will apply to eligible returning subscribers as well as new subscribers.
What Is Hulu’s Black Friday Deal?
Basically, Hulu is giving away a year of its service. Okay, not exactly. But $0.99 per month is almost nothing. You can probably find that in your couch. And there is probably more cash in your wallet right now than what you need for the whole year.
And all you need to do to get the great Hulu deal is click over and sign up — starting November 21st.
No codes to mess with. No contracts to sign. Just sign up and you’re done.
Well, there is one thing: this deal never lasts long! You must sign up by the end of Cyber Monday, November 28th. Don’t miss out.
Why Get Hulu?
If you still want to watch the latest TV shows but don’t care if you see them the moment they are released, Hulu is the service for you. Most episodes are available the day after they air.
It doesn’t matter if you are a fan of The Bachelorette, What We Do in the Shadows, or The Dropout, you can watch it before people start talking about it at work the next day. You also get popular original shows like The Handmaid’s Tale, The Kardashians, and Only Murders in the Building.
Here are some of the shows you can catch on Hulu using the Black Friday deal:
- Little Fires Everywhere
- Palm Springs
- Bob’s Burgers
- Jumanji: The Next Level
- Deadpool
- Run
Hulu subscriptions come in three plans:
- Hulu’s ad-supported plan ($7.99/month): Gives you access to its complete library including Hulu Originals, premium channels like HBO Max with commercial interruptions.
- Hulu’s no-ads plan ($17.99/mo): The same access but totally, completely ad-free!
- Hulu + Live TV ($76.99/month): The same access along with Disney+, ESPN+, and 85 live TV channels covering sports, news, entertainment, and more.
Regardless what you are looking for, Hulu has a plan for you.
