You can follow all of NCAA sports with Fubo. Try it free.
Following the FAU basketball program can be challenging since the team rarely gets national TV coverage on major networks. Fortunately, every game is available through various streaming platforms. Here’s how to catch all the action.
In a hurry? A large number of both women’s and men’s games stream exclusively on ESPN+ so your top choice will probably be Hulu + Live TV, which provides it as well as Disney+ and 85+ live TV channels. These streaming services will provide a lot of coverage as well:
Watch NCAA Basketball Live Tonight
All three services carry NCAA Basketball. Pick based on your budget:

The Florida Atlantic Owls basketball teams provide opportunities for those in the Boca Raton, FLA metropolitan area to enjoy NCAA Division I hoops while those near and far following the school’s men’s team during its 2023-24 campaign have been highly entertained by that nationally ranked program.
However, unfortunately, it is not simple to watch either of these teams play.
The final teams for the 2024 March Madness have been announced. The Owls’ women’s team had a tough season and will no participate. But the men were among the leading teams in the AAC and have secured a spot.

Channels to Watch Florida Atlantic Basketball
First, it is important to take into account that FAU’s basketball teams are moving from Conference USA to the American Athletic Conference for their 2023-24 seasons. The biggest change to note broadcasting-wise is the accompanying move away from CUSA.tv.
During the 2022-23 FAU men’s and women’s basketball seasons, C-USA games and non-conference home tilts were available through CUSA.tv, ESPN+, Stadium, ESPNU, and CBS Sports Network (CBSSN). In fact, of FAU’s men’s team’s 20 conference games, only four were broadcast on television. Three were shown on CBSSN while one was on ESPNU. And this is for a nationally ranked team leading its conference. (All 20 of FAU’s women’s team’s conference games were live-streamed, on CUSA.tv, ESPN+, and Stadium.)
Meanwhile, non-conference games played away from Boca Raton may also be shown through other outlets since the home team or organizer handles broadcasting rights. For example, FAU women’s non-league games away from home in 2022-23 were streamed by B1G+, FloHoops, ACCNX, and YouTube.
As for their 2023-24 campaigns, you can expect both Owls squads to remain on ESPN+ on a regular basis while FAU games that are played on AAC floors and are televised will likely be shown on ESPN2 or ESPNU.
Streaming Florida Atlantic Basketball
You can watch a lot of Florida Atlantic basketball on C-USATV — at least during the beginning of the season. For the rest, you will need to pay for access.
Hulu + Live TV: This really is the best streaming service for Owls fans because it provides the live TV channels you need as well as ESPN+. Get that and much more for just $82.99/month. (Hulu Live review)
Fubo (formerly FuboTV): A great service for sports fans with 130+ live TV channels including CBSSN, ESPN, ESPN2, FS1, FS2, beIN Sports, and TUDN starting at $79.99/month. (Fubo review)
DIRECTV: Offers 75+ channels for $59.99/month — and pretty much any other channel you are interested in with its higher-level plans. (DIRECTV review)
YouTube TV: Provides 100+ well-chosen channels for $82.99/month.
Every streaming service above comes with a substantial cloud DVR. They all also allow you to stream on multiple devices simultaneously: Hulu (2), YouTube (3), Fubo (10), and DIRECTV (unlimited).
All the streaming services provide apps on the following devices: Amazon Fire TV, Android Mobile, Android TV, Apple TV, Chromecast, iPad/iPhone, Roku, Samsung smart TVs, and web browsers. Fubo, Hulu, and YouTube also support other smart TVs and the Xbox gaming console.
Florida Atlantic Basketball
The Florida Atlantic Owls play home games at a 2,900-seat venue that has had four different names: RoofClaim.com Arena, FAU Arena, Eleanor R Baldwin Arena, and The Burrow. Also, the 2,900-seat venue’s court is named Abessinio Court.
The facility’s official name was FAU Arena for the vast majority of its history, only taking the RoofClaim.com moniker during the 2019-20 season and adopting the Eleanor R Baldwin Arena name for the 2022-23 campaign and beyond after its new namesake donated $7.5 million. The Burrow is its more casual name.
FAU’s biggest rival is Florida International, which is based in nearby Miami, although this rivalry will likely not be as heated now that the Owls have left FIU behind in C-USA. They have been in the same conference since 2006 — in the Sun Belt from then to 2013 and in C-USA since.
However, FAU and USF may develop a heated rivalry as those Florida-based teams are now in the AAC together.
Interestingly, FAU is one of the rare schools that has a women’s basketball team that has been around longer than its men’s program. The former started playing in 1984 while the latter joined the ranks four years later.
The Owls reached the NCAA Tournament in March 2023 for the second time in program history, advancing to the Final Four in Houston by defeating the Kansas State Wildcats 79-76 in the Elite Eight at Madison Square Garden.
Florida Atlantic Men’s Basketball
Before last year, the Florida Atlantic’s men’s program has had one season in the spotlight, winning the Atlantic Sun Tournament and advancing to the NCAA Tournament in 2002. The Owls also won the Sun Belt regular-season title in 2010-11. Their current coach is Dusty May.
But 2023 was a big year for the Owls when they went all the way to the Final Four. They were defeated by San Diego State in a heart-breaking 71-72 loss.
A significant regular-season win of note was a stunning defeat of Oklahoma State on December 1, 1998. It snapped the 11th-ranked Cowboys’ 80-game, 12-year winning streak in non-conference games played at home in Stillwater. In the RPI leading into this contest, OSU was ranked 23rd while the Owls were 307th out of 310.
The FAU team has spent much of the 2024-24 season at the bottom of or just outside the AP Top 25 ranking. The players who are most contributing to the team’s significant successes have been Jalen Gaffney, Bryan Greenlee, Vladislav Goldin (blocks, rebounds leader), Johnell Davis (points, assists leader), Alijah Martin (steals leader), Brandon Weatherspoon, and Brenen Lorient.

Florida Atlantic Women’s Basketball
FAU’s women’s team has also had one NCAA Tournament appearance. That occurred in 2006, following an A-Sun Tournament championship. However, these Owls are still looking for their first regular-season conference championship. Their highest finish to date came when they finished second the same season as their tournament successes.
Aniya Hubbard has been injured this year, but she is back. The team is led by Janeta Rozentale (rebounds leader), Allie Tylka, Dyllan Hanna (blocked shots leader), Maria Myklebust, Mya Perry (points leader), Alexa Zaph, Devyn Scott, and Jada Moore (assists, steals leader).
