The Minnesota Wild played their first NHL season in 2000-01, making them one of the last teams to join until the latest expansion in 2017.

They made the Stanley Cup playoffs for the first time in 2002-03, and have gone on to make the playoffs a total of 13 times in their 23-year history. This included last season (2022-23), though the Wild never made it past the first round after losing to the Dallas Stars 2-4.

Minnesota Wild home games take place at the Xcel Energy Center in Saint Paul, Minnesota.

Having extended the contract of right-wing Mat Zuccarello – one of the team’s best players last year, with 22 goals and 67 points – fans might be wondering if the Wild can go all the way this season.

How to Stream All Minnesota Wild Games

The streaming service you choose to watch Minnesota Wild games will depend on where you’re located.

If you live within the Bally Sports North or Bally Sports Wisconsin coverage region (Minnesota, Wisconsin, North and South Dakota, northern Iowa, Illinois, and parts of Michigan) you can subscribe to a streaming service that carries Bally Sports – such as Fubo or DIRECTV STREAM.

If you’re outside of this region (known as out-of-market), an ESPN+ subscription will let you watch all the Wild’s locally broadcast games from anywhere in the US.

Regardless of where you live, you’ll also need TNT, ABC, and ESPN to watch the 10 nationally broadcast games, as well as Hulu or ESPN+ for the three streaming-only events.

Fubo: Best Value for Sports Fans

Fubo offers all Bally Sports channels, as well as ABC and ESPN, in its base plan. This starts at $74.99 a month without contracts or commitments (so you can cancel at any time).

The base plan includes more than 145 channels, almost 40 of which are dedicated to sports, and unlimited cloud DVR storage. You can watch on up to ten screens at once while at home, and three on the go.

For local Minnesota Wild fans, a Fubo subscription has everything you need to watch all the Wild games, except for the five airing on TNT and the three streaming only on ESPN+.

Check out our complete Fubo review for more detailed information.

DIRECTV STREAM for Minnesota Wild Fans

Three out of the four DIRECTV STREAM packages include all the channels you’ll need to watch Minnesota Wild games, including ABC, TNT, ESPN, and Bally Sports.

The cheapest of these plans (the Choice plan) starts at $99.99 per month and comes with more than 100 channels, unlimited nine-month storage on a cloud DVR, and streaming on as many screens as you’d like at home (three while away).

You’ll just need Hulu or ESPN+ for the three streaming-only Wild games.

Other Streaming Options

Wild fans who can’t get Bally Sports North or Bally Sports Wisconsin can sign up for ESPN+ to get all out-of-market NHL games.

ESPN+ is available directly or as part of the Hulu + Live TV bundle.

Signing up for ESPN+ ensures you’ll be able to watch the three streaming-only Wild games, and if you subscribe through Hulu + Live TV you’ll also have access to ABC, ESPN, and TNT, so you can watch all the nationally broadcast games as well.

This means out-of-market Minnesota Wild fans can watch every Wild game with one Hulu + Live TV subscription.

Local fans also have the option to sign up for Bally Sports+ to watch Bally Sports North or Bally Sports Wisconsin online if they’re within the coverage region. This option doesn’t include any of the other channels required to watch the nationally broadcast games (ABC, TNT, or ESPN) or let you watch the streaming-only games though.
