What Is Revolt TV?

Revolt TV is an American multi-platform channel that showcases music and culture, especially hip hop, R&B, and urban lifestyle. It is normally referred to as simply “Revolt” and was founded by music mogul Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs in 2013. Revolt TV’s goal is to offer a platform for up-and-coming artists, musicians, and other creatives to present their work and reach a broader audience.

The channel includes music videos, interviews, live performances, and original shows that explore the connection between music, culture, and social justice topics. With a varied range of content, Revolt aims to empower and motivate viewers while celebrating the diverse hip-hop, R&B, and urban music scene.

Revolt TV also covers music news on several artists including Drake, Future, Remy Ma, French Montana, and Joe Budden.

What Kind of Content Does Revolt TV Offer?

Some of the notable shows on Revolt include:

  • Drink Champs, hosted by Queens rapper N.O.R.E. and Miami’s DJ EFN, is where lively tales meet drinks. Top hip-hop stars spill the tea, share behind-the-scenes stories, and reminisce about their journeys. It’s like sitting at the bar with your favorite artists.
  • Big Facts, hosted by Big Bank, DJ Scream, and Baby Jade, is a raw talk show that dives deep into the music industry, revealing untold stories and unfiltered perspectives. If you want the unvarnished truth, this is where you’ll find it.
  • The Crew League combines hip-hop and charity. Watch your favorite artists such as Chris Brown hit the basketball court, competing for a cause. It’s not just about the game; it’s about giving back.
  • Caresha Please, hosted by City Girls’ Yung Miami, is a talk show with a twist. Celebs, social media stars, fun chats, and cocktails — what more could you ask for? Yung Miami keeps it real and entertaining.
  • Black Girl Stuff features young Black women discussing Gen Z issues. Hosts Brii, Tori, and Britt tackle everything from culture to empowerment. It’s a safe space for candid conversations.
  • Follow Big Draco/Soulja Boy on his 2021 tour in The Life of Draco. Get an exclusive look at life on the road with one of Hip Hop’s most iconic figures.
  • The Jason Lee Show is a raw and unfiltered talk show that covers trending hot topics in pop culture, wild interactive games, and exclusive celebrity interviews. It’s hosted by Jason Lee.

Our Choice

Look, if you’re after Revolt TV and want the best bang for your buck, Sling TV is the way to go. I checked out all the usual suspects – DIRECTV STREAM, Philo, the whole lot – and Sling just hits the sweet spot. Their “Sling Blue” package has Revolt, plus a bunch of other channels that fit the same vibe, and it’s seriously affordable. I found the streaming quality top-notch – no buffering or lag – and their DVR is a lifesaver if you can’t catch a show live. Sling works on pretty much any device, which is a big plus for me, and the interface is super easy to navigate, even for someone like my Uncle Dave who’s not exactly a tech whiz. Sure, the channel lineup isn’t as massive as some of the pricier options, but honestly, for the price and what you get, Sling is a no-brainer for anyone who loves Revolt’s music and culture scene.
