Are you looking for a way to watch the Toastery Bowl online without cable?

If you are, you’ve come to the right place. It’s easier than ever to watch the Famous Toastery Bowl (formerly Bahamas bowl) live stream and other bowl games without cable. You can find all of the details you need in the following sections.

Toastery Bowl Schedule

The 2023 Toastery Bowl is the branded Bahamas Bowl for this year. It features tie-ins with Conference USA (C-USA) and the Mid-American Conference (MAC). But this year, a Sun Belt Conference team was supposed to play a MAC team. But MAC didn’t have enough teams with bowl eligibility so C-USA got the slot.

This section offers all of the details you need to watch the Toastery Bowl live stream, from the TV channel carrying the game to the kickoff time, and any other important details you’ll need. It is normally the first bowl game of the year but this year because of the location switch, it will be played two days later:

  • Date: Monday, December 18th, 2023
  • Channel: ESPN
  • Teams: Western Kentucky (38) vs Old Dominion (35)
  • Last Year’s Results: Miami (Ohio) (20) vs University of Alabama at Birmingham (24)

The Famous Toastery Bowl is held at Jerry Richardson Stadium on the UNC Charlotte campus. The venue has been changed this year due to ongoing renovations of the usual Thomas Robinson Stadium.

As a result, the name of the bowl was also changed. The Famous Toastery is a brunch (“all-day breakfast”) restaurant chain primarily in Charlotte but with restaurants as far north as northern Virginia and as far south as Myrtle Beach. It’s a good sponsor for this (likely) one-off Charlotte Bowl game.

How to Watch the Toastery Bowl Online Without Cable

The only legal way to watch the Toastery Bowl streaming without cable is with a streaming service. While there are several options, and you’ll find out about all of them, our top two recommendations are Fubo and Sling TV.

The basic idea of streaming services is that they serve as an alternative to cable. You get a similar availability of channels at a lower price. In most cases, streaming services also offer more flexibility and features. As these services avoid contracts, you even have the freedom to cancel your service at any time.

If you want to use a streaming service, after a free trial (if the service has one), you’ll pay a monthly fee (usually starting at $40 to $80 per month), access to the internet, and a streaming device that is compatible with the service you picked.

The most common streaming devices work with most streaming services. Some options include Roku, Apple TV, computers, mobile devices, and more.

Other Ways to Watch the Toastery Bowl Online

Fubo, Sling TV, DIRECTV STREAM, and Hulu Live are some of the easiest ways to stream the Toastery Bowl, but there are other options. The following services also offer a way to watch the Toastery Bowl online without cable.

Western Kentucky Hilltoppers vs Old Dominion Monarchs

The 2023 Famous Toastery Bowl features a matchup between Conference USA (C-USA) and the Sun Belt Conference (SBC).

WKU represents C-USA. They finished 4th in the conference with a record of 7-5 but 5-3 in-conference. It’s a bit of a step down from the last few seasons.

ODU finished the season with a 6-6 record but their 5-3 in-season finish was good enough for fifth overall in the conference. This is an impressive return to form after last year’s 3-9 finish.

Old Dominion Monarchs Personnel

Head coach Ricky Rahne started with the team in 2020, but due to the pandemic, he’s only coached for three seasons. His overall record is 15-22 with an in-conference record of 12-12. With him are offensive coordinator Kevin Decker and defensive coordinator Blake Seiler.

The Monarchs’ offensive is led by quarterback Grant Wilson. With him are running backs Kadarius Calloway and Keshawn Wicks, and wide receivers Reymello Murphy, Kelby Williams, Javon Harvey, and Isiah Paige, and tight end Jalen Butler.

On defense are linebackers Jason Henderson and Wayne Matthews III, defensive backs Rasheed Reason, Nolan Johnson, Tahj Ra-El, LaMareon James, Shawn Asbury II, Terry Jones, and Markus Knight, and linemen Denzel Lowry and Kris Trinidad.

Western Kentucky Hilltoppers Personnel

Tyson Helton is in his fifth season as head coach of the Hilltoppers. The team has a record of 39-26 (28-11 in-conference) under him. Supporting him are offensive coordinator Drew Hollingshead and defensive coordinator Tyson Summers.

Quarterback Austin Reed heads the office with running backs Elijah Young and Markese Stepp, wide receivers Malachi Corley, Dalvin Smith, and Easton Messer, and tight end River Helms.

On defense are linebackers Kylan Guidry, Desmyn Baker, Niko Cooper, Sebastian Benjamin, and JaQues Evans, defensive backs Upton Stout, Rome Weber, Anthony Johnson Jr, Talique Allen, Davion Williams, Virgil Marshall, and Takulve Williams, and linemen Hosea Wheeler, Deante McCray, Jayden Loving, and Terrion Thompson.
