The 2023 Holiday Bowl features Louisville Cardinals of the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) vs USC Trojans of the Pac-12 Conference.

Louisville Cardinals Personnel

Quarterback Jack Plummer leads the Cardinals’ offensive with running backs Jawhar Jordan and Isaac Guerendo, wide receivers Jamari Thrash, Chris Bell, and Kevin Coleman, and tight ends Joey Gatewood and Nate Kurisky.
On defense are linebackers TJ Quinn, Jaylin Alderman, and Antonio Watts, defensive backs Quincy Riley, Devin Neal, Jarvis Brownlee Jr, Storm Duck, Benjamin Perry, and Cam’Ron Kelly, and linemen Ashton Gillotte, Stephen Herron, Ramon Puryear, and Mason Reiger.
USC Trojans Personnel
Head coach Lincoln Riley is in his second season at USC after a great run with Oklahoma. He is supported by offensive coordinator Josh Henson and defensive coordinators Shaun Nua and Brian Odom.
The Trojans‘ offense has been led by quarterback Caleb Williams, but he will not play in the Holiday Bowl. Duties will go to either sophomore Miller Moss or freshman Malachi Nelson. The offense is filled out with running backs MarShawn Lloyd and Austin Jones, wide receivers Tahj Washington and Brenden Rice, and tight end Lake McRee.
On defense there are linebackers Mason Cobb, Tackett Curtis, Eric Gentry, defensive backs Christian Roland-Wallace, Calen Bullock, Eric Gentry, Domani Jackson, Ceyair Wright, and Max Williams, and linemen Solomon Byrd, Bear Alexander, and Jamil Muhammad.
