You’ve heard about two popular ways to stream ESPN without cable. If you’re interested in finding other ways to watch ESPN, there are a couple of remaining options. Here are other ways to stream the Liberty Bowl online:
The 2023 Liberty Bowl features the Iowa State Cyclones of the Big 12 Conference and the Memphis Tigers of the American Athletic Conference (AAC). They are two excellent teams but Iowa State is likely to dominate.
The Cyclones managed fourth place in the Big 12 with a record of 7-5 but 6-3 for in-conference games. This is a remarkable turnaround from last year’s last-place finish with 4-8 (1-8).
The University of Memphis also placed fourth this year in their conference. They ended the season with a 9-3 record (6-2 in-conference). This is the same high level that the school has competed at for the last decade since Justin Fuente turned the team around.
Head coach Matt Campbell has been with the Cyclones for 8 seasons. With him are offensive coordinator Nathan Scheelhaase and defensive coordinator Jon Heacock. Campbell and Heacock came together from Toledo.
Quarterback Rocco Becht leads the Cyclones’ offense. Running backs Eli Sanders and Cartevious Norton are transferring but Abu Sama III will play. Also on offense are wide receivers Jayden Higgins and Jaylin Noel and tight end Benjamin Brahmer.
On defense are linebackers Caleb Bacon, Gerry Vaughn, and Will McLaughlin, defensive backs Myles Purchase, Jeremiah Cooper, TJ Tampa, and Beau Freyler, and linemen Tyler Onyedim, Joey Petersen, Trent Jones II, and JR Singleton.
Ryan Silverfield has been head coach of the Tigers for the last four seasons. With him are offensive coordinator Tim Cramsey and defensive coordinator Matt Barnes.
Quarterback Seth Henigan leads the Tigers’ offense with running back Blake Watson, wide receivers Roc Taylor and Demeer Blankumsee, and tight end Anthony Landphere.
The Tigers’ defense features linebackers Chandler Martin, Geoffrey Cantin-Arku, and Cincir Evans, defensive backs DeAgo Brumfield, Cameron Smith, Simeon Blair, and Greg Rubin, and linemen Jaylon Allen, CorMontae Hamilton, and Josh Ellison.
After testing all the options, Fubo came out on top for watching the Liberty Bowl. It’s got ESPN, so you’re covered, but what really makes it stand out is the solid streaming quality and a super easy-to-use interface. Some services like Sling TV and DIRECTV have ESPN too, but Fubo gives you more channels, a strong lineup for sports fans, and a cloud DVR that lets you record the game if life gets in the way. It also works on pretty much any device, so you can watch wherever you want. When it comes to the best mix of reliability, features, and overall value, Fubo just makes the most sense.
