What Channels Show Ole Miss Football Games?
The ESPN Family of Networks owns the rights to SEC games, which includes all conference battles as well as non-conference tilts hosted by league schools. That means that ABC, ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU, and SEC Network are where nearly all Rebels games will be shown in 2024.
That said, there are two exceptions:
- The team’s season-opening contest with Furman will only be available online through a shared ESPN+/SEC Network+ stream. However, as long as you subscribe to a streaming service that offers the SEC Network, you will have complimentary access to that SEC Network+ live stream.
- Ole Miss’ third game with Demon Deacons, an ACC team, means that ACC television rights apply. This game will be broadcast on The CW.

About Ole Miss Rebels Football
Ole Miss is coming off of one of its best seasons in school history as it set the school record for victories and posted its lowest loss total since 1971 while going 11-2. Many prognosticators are expecting even more from the Rebels in 2024. If they are right, Ole Miss could be in the running for its first conference title since 1963 and maybe even its first undisputed national championship title ever.
The school’s 2023 team finished its campaign ranked ninth in both major polls, and many believe that Ole Miss will be a top-five program this year. All of that enthusiasm has resulted in Ole Miss season tickets selling out.
Players
Several of the top players from Ole Miss’ top-10 team in 2023 are back this year with aspirations to lead the squad to even greater glories, and they are complimented by some impressive transfers.
Quarterback Jaxson Dart is one of those talented returners. He might win the Heisman Trophy in 2024 and has been described by Phil Steele as the year’s No. 2 quarterback prospect for the NFL. Dart will also be surrounded by top players, including a receiving corps that features returners Jordan Watkins and Tre Harris and newcomer Antwane Wells Jr, who was named All-SEC while at South Carolina.
This is definitely the best roster. I don’t know if it’ll be the best team. There’s a lot to be figured out with that.

The defense improving would do a lot to make the Rebels truly elite. Twice in 2023, Ole Miss allowed 49 or more points in a game, including in a 52-17 loss at Georgia on November 11. However, adding transfers Princely Umanmielen and Walter Nolen to the defensive line and other newcomers Chris Paul Jr, a linebacker, and Trey Amos, a cornerback, elsewhere on that side of the ball should help.
What Is the Ole Miss Football Schedule for This Season?
The Rebels have most of their expected toughest tests at home in games with Oklahoma on October 26 and Georgia on November 9 as well as the always intense Egg Bowl matchup with Mississippi State on November 29, 2024. Meanwhile, the likely toughest away game will be Ole Miss vs LSU on October 12.
However, Ole Miss should receive a relatively smooth ride through the first half of its schedule as the initial real test is expected to be that Magnolia Bowl game against LSU in mid-October.
