The NFL Draft consists of 7 rounds. They take place over three days (start times in EDT):

All of this primary coverage will stream on ESPN+ as well.
As of last year, if you wanted complete coverage, you needed to tune to NFL Network. This year, we could not confirm this is the case, but if so, it will likely also stream on NFL+ at these times:
- Thursday, April 25 : Round 1

- Saturday, April 27 : Round 4-7
This year’s draft moves from Kansas City to Detroit — around Campus Martius Park and Hart Plaza for three days of selection.
2024 NFL Draft on Sling TV
There are two ways to go when it comes to live streaming the NFL Draft on Sling TV. They both allow you to watch on most streaming devices in use today. These include Amazon Fire TV, Apple TV, and Roku devices, Android and iOS mobile devices, LG, Samsung, and Vizio smart TVs, and Oculus and Xbox gaming devices.
Sling Blue for 2024 NFL Draft
The most obvious is to get the Sling Blue plan. It comes with NFL Network for $40.00/month. In some areas, you will also get ABC, but if that’s the case, the plan is $5/mo more.
In addition to to this, you get 40+ other channels. These include A&E, AMC, BBC America, BET, Bloomberg Television, Bravo, CNN, Cartoon Network (Adult Swim), Comedy Central, Discovery Channel, FS1, FX, HGTV, History Channel, IFC, Lifetime, National Geographic, Nick Jr, Syfy, TBS, TNT, truTV, and USA Network. In select markets, you also get NBC and Fox — critical for the NFL regular season.
The plan comes with 50 hours of cloud DVR storage. And you can stream on up to 3 devices at the same time.
Sling Orange for 2023 NFL Draft
Sling Orange costs the same amount ($40.00/month) and offers many of the same (but fewer) channels. However, it compensates for this by offering The Disney Channel along with ESPN, ESPN2, and ESPN3.
One interesting thing about ESPN3 is that it isn’t a channel. It’s really its own streaming service, with many events going on at once. One of its streams is for ABC Sports. With few exceptions, anything that ABC Sports is airing will be simulcast on ESPN3.
Other Orange-specific channels include Freeform and MotorTrend.
One potential downside of Sling Orange is that it limits you to watching on one device at the same time. But it does come with 50 hours of cloud DVR storage.
The Ultimate Sports Plan
You can also combine the two TV packages above. Sling Orange & Blue is $55.00/month and comes with everything in them.
You can also combine it with the Sports Extra add-on for $15/mo more. This makes it an outstanding service for college football fans as well as NBA, MLB, NHL, and more. It comes with 18 sports channels: ACCN, ACCNX, beIN Sports, Big Ten Network, ESPNU, ESPNews, FS2, Golf Channel, Longhorn Network, MLB Network, MLB Network Strike Zone, NBA TV, NFL RedZone, NHL Network, Pac-12 Network, SEC Network, SEC Network+, and Tennis Channel.

FAQs
Can I watch the NFL draft for free?
You can watch primary coverage of the 7 rounds of the NFL draft on ABC. In most areas of the country, you can watch it for free with a digital antenna. We highly recommend doing this through the Sling TV app. Learn all about the process in our Sling TV Local Channels guide.
You can also stream additional live coverage free on the NFL Channel (not to be confused with the cable channel NFL Network). It’s available through the NFL App, Roku Channel, Peacock, Pluto TV, Tubi, Vizio WatchFree, Xumo Play, LG, and on the NFL’s website.
Is Sling TV good for general sports viewing?
Sling is great for sports — especially for the cost. And if you want more, there is the Sports Extra add-on for $11/mo. The one thing lacking with Sling — especially for NFL games featuring AFC teams — is CBS. This can be overcome by integrating an antenna or by combining it with Paramount+ (deal).
Can I watch the 2024 NFL Draft on my PlayStation?
Sling TV does not currently support any PlayStation models. However, you can use your Sling TV account with TV Everywhere and watch the draft on the ESPN app. It supports PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 models. If you want to watch directly, you will need to spend a bit more and go with Hulu Live or YouTube TV.
Neither the ABC nor NFL apps support the PlayStation.
Will the NFL draft be broadcast in Spanish?
ESPN Deportes will be broadcasting the first two days of the NFL draft (rounds 1-3) in Spanish. You can get this channel by combining Sling Orange with the Latino add-on for $5/mo. It comes with a total of 18 channels. These include beIN Sports en Español and PX Sports (PXTV).
