Formula 1 is the top racing series of the Fédération Internationale de l’Automobile (FIA). The 2024 Formula 1 World Championship season started with the Bahrain Grand Prix. The second event was the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix at Jeddah Corniche Circuit, located on the banks of the Red Sea.
Jedidah Corniche Circuit is considered the fastest street circuit and the second-longest circuit on the calendar. Saudi Arabia signed a 10-year contract with F1 to host the race, with the prospect of eventually changing the venue from the Jeddah circuit to a more permanent facility in Qiddiyah.
This year was the fourth time the race took place, having first taken place in 2021. In 2023, Mexican racer Sergio Pérez came in first at the Jeddah Street Circuit and now boasts 6 Grand Prix races and 37 podium finishes. His teammate, Max Verstappen, finished second.
The Formula 1 STC Saudi Arabian Grand Prix 2024 took place from March 7 to 9 on the 6.174-kilometre Jeddah Corniche Circuit. ESPN2 broadcasted the final race on Saturday from 12:00 p.m. EST, and all the free practice and qualifying sessions aired on ESPN-affiliated platforms.

2023 Saudi Arabian Race Results
Red Bull’s Sergio Perez led his team to a 1-2 finish, with Max Verstappen coming in second place. The pair dominated the race from start to finish, leading every lap and finishing well ahead of the competition. Perez started from pole position and maintained his lead throughout the race, setting the fastest lap of the day in the process.
The race was relatively uneventful, with no major incidents or accidents. However, reliability concerns were raised for some other top teams, such as Mercedes and Ferrari, who struggled with technical issues throughout the race. This gave Red Bull a significant advantage and allowed them to secure a comfortable victory.
Despite the dominant performance from Red Bull, the race was not without controversy. Lewis Hamilton, who finished fifth in the race, was penalized for an incident with another driver and had to serve a time penalty. This cost him the chance to challenge the Red Bull drivers for the win, and he ultimately had to settle for fifth place.

When I tested the best streaming services for the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix, I focused on how they deliver Formula 1 content reliably and affordably. Fubo stood out because it offers a comprehensive selection of sports channels, including ESPN, which covers all F1 races. Its streaming quality is top-notch, and the interface is intuitive—perfect for switching between live events without hassle. The DVR feature is robust too, allowing you to record races for later viewing. All things considered, Fubo is a great fit for F1 fans who want ease of access, smooth streaming, and excellent channel variety.
