About the Detroit Lions
Detroit started the season 1-6 before rebounding to finish 9-8 after winning its season finale 20-16 against the Packers in Green Bay. Although Detroit didn’t make the playoffs, they look like early contenders to make the postseason in 2023. Depending on what happens in Green Bay, they may have a shot at a division title next year.
The Lions will pick twice in the top 18 of the 2023 draft after trading Matthew Stafford to the Rams prior to the start of the 2021 season. The Lions will likely target another corner and pass rusher in an effort to bolster what was a shaky defense in 2022.
