Kansas Jayhawks vs UNLV Rebels
The 2023 Guaranteed Rate Bowl features the Kansas Jayhawks of the Big 12 Conference and the UNLV Rebels of the Mountain West Conference (MWC).
Despite its strong record of 8–4 (5–4 in-conference), the Jayhawks only managed 8th in the Big 12 this year. Of course, it is up against some of the best teams in the nation. Regardless, this was an excellent season for Kansas — their best since 2007.

Kansas Jayhawks Personnel
Lance Leipold is in his third season as head coach of the Jayhawks during which time he’s seeing constant improvement in the team. With him is defensive coordinator Brian Borland.
